I generally liked the demo except for a few things(I played as a soldier)
Cons
As a soldier I could not use a sniper rifle.
When i ran it pivoted me about 30 degrees to the right or left.
Aiming controls seemed very fast moving. just moving around was like a 9 setting for halo or cod even with the low setting.
aiming reticile was weird. the non zoomed in reticle was smaller than the zoomed in reticle(pistol)
cooldown times took pretty long.
Assault rifles down-played(not as much damage).
Ashley looks nothing like she did in ME1 or ME2.
Helmet settings were either on or off. I didn't like that because it wasn't like ME2s system(I am unsure of on or off would change anything other than visuals).
Wrex sounded different.
Story at beginning seemed like I was missing information to understand many things.
Pros
Shotguns got way better.
Submachine guns got way better.
Submachine guns are usable by soldier.
running is faster.
upgrade system is better
otherwise its as usual
Demo pros cons Bioware please address issues

i may have a few answers for you, first off i think you can use any gun, they just didn't have a sniper in the demo. Second, the whole helmet on or off thing is just like in a lot of other RPGs, where you still get the helmet perks but don't have to be seen wearing it. Wrex sounded the exact same to me, so maybe that is just you. And the opening level made plenty of sense if you played the Arrival DLC for Mass Effect 2, & read the short comic Mass Effect: Conviction. And the whole issue when you are running and the aiming controls, is just your demo mine worked perfectly fine. And I agree with the Ashley looking a little different but you have to remember years have gone by since you have seen her last, so he has gotten older and maybe used some technology from the time, to get a "face lift".

Garrus had a sniper and I did play arrival and the demo didn't mention it at all maybe mine had some sort of screw up/omission

No snipe on soldier? Can we at least have it replaced by a second assault rifle?

okay once and for all you CAN get a sniper on solider, it just wasn't in the demo. They said that the weapons and how you use them are going to be the same as in multiplayer. so cillax.

Most of these seem like personal things...not, actualy technical issues. The demo does have some parts cut out of it, they don't want to actually spoil anything beyond what's been released already (non leak). Ashley had a redesign, and also it's six months since ME2. She grew her hair and that is about it. You only go left or right during Storm/Sprint if YOU go left or right...And there was a bug that replaced some of Wrex's lines with Wreav's (sp?). He's done by the same voice actor though.
First time posting on BSN, and already seen, it house some genuinely self-centred and awfully entitled people (not on this topic btw).
