Hello, did anyone knows if the German DLC from the Xbox Live Marketplace will work with the english (UK) Version of the game? (As so often the German Language Version of Bioware games sucks from horrible Voice Acting) ... the DLC Codes from the game themself (Stone Prisoner, Dragon Armor) seems to work, but before spending real money with no refund i would like to be sure

Don't know for the German DLC, but the Wardens Keep DLC from the Belgium (French) Marketplace works fine with my UK Version. I guess if the Stone Prisoner works fine it should be no problem for the other content

I have the UK Version and downloaded the DLC's with the ingame option and it worked fine.

I don't know what real money you want to spend, I used the codes from the box.

Well, thats really interesting!

I want the wardens keep as well, but dont dare to download from the German Marketplace.

Of cause i think it would work just fine, the matter is the language. Bloody hell would i be pissed, if my beautiful UK version suddenly content an english/german mix.

Even the ingame download option shows for (only) the Wardens keep a german description... that's where my mistrust comes from...

I've played it though and no language mix accured. I downloaded it with the browser within the game.

Just for another data point, I downloaded both Stone Prisoner and Wardens Keep in Austria with an English version of the game and both downloads are in English.



Mass Effect at least put [en] and [deu] next to the downloads to be sure, but I think the DA sorts this out for itself.

Ok, easy going. I gave it a shoot, downloaded wardens keep with the ingame option and it works just fine. You were right and nobody needs to be concerned about buying it this way.
