When I herd that ME3 was going to be Earth-centric I was a bit disappointed. For me Mass Effect wasn't all about Commander Shepard and humanity but rather about Shepard and humanity's part in the greater galactic community and about a threat that threatens all sentient life throughout the universe.
However, if ME3 is about Shep fighting on the home front, turning back the Reaper invasion from Earth, AND THEN through DLC we get to go out and assist the Quarians, Omega, Illium, the Citadel, etc. finally defeating all of them (or enough to end the assault), well that would be very cool.
Also wouldn't mind knowing what happened to Gillian and the Quarian exploration ship.
Is this how it goes down in ME3 cause THIS would be pretty cool.

Even the demo proves that idea wrong.

You act like we aren't already going to do that? The day we don't fight a GALAXY wide fight in the full game and require DLC is the day I become a troll. It's clearly marketing.
