Hi!

I'm experiencing some nasty graphic bugs when I'm viewing the
intro-movie and playing the game. I've never had any issues with ME2,
and i have tried with both the latest official nVidia drivers
(285.62) and the Beta driver (295.51). Any suggestions on what could cause this?

My
specs are:

Windows
7 Pro 32-bit
Core
i5 650 @ 3.2ghz
2GB
ddr3 ram 668mhz
Nvidia
GeForce 260 (EVGA)
ASUS
P7P55D-E LX motherboard
1680*1050
screen resolution

Screens below.

Yes, i have tried redownloading and reinstalling the game with no effect. Have to say that this bug kind of ruined the excitement of the intro movie. Characters floating around in mid air, faces getting all messed up with the eyes and jaws popping out etc...

I uninstalled the old video drivers i had (285.62) before i installed the new ones (Beta driver 295.51). I have not tried to reinstall the beta drivers again. But i will try that when i get home. I will also try to uninstall the beta drivers and install the old drivers (285.62) to see if it helps.

I have now tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the 285 and 295 graphic drivers with no luck. I have tried to adjust the different graphic settings in the Configuration utility as well.

When i try to play, the screen is flashing a lot and several graphic objects tends to disappear and reappear at random. My character also tends to get airborne and hoovering around for short periods of time (as can be seen in the fourth screenshot in the first post). I have no clue what is causing this as my specs should be able to run the game on pretty much max settings. The only time i have experienced something similar is with Crysis 1 and 2. It seems like my computer does not like CryEngine as i'm experiencing pretty much the same bugs there (which i havent be able to figure out either).

Perhaps you could go back a couple of revisions with your video drivers and get some much older ones than the last two revisions. I know there have been lots of issues with newer Nvidia drivers and some of their older cards usually using an older driver solves the problem. If it's the same after reinstall i imagine it's nothing in the game files and it's happening on other games anyway so i'm almost sure it's a driver based issue.

Out of curiosity how long have you had that card and what temps are you getting during play?

Oh my God... O_O
This looks like a perverted combo between Mass Effect and Resident Evil. Are you sure you were not playing Resident Effect instead of ME3? O_o

Jokes aside, these are some very nasty bugs indeed.

I have had the card since early 2009, and it has worked great since (with the exception of Crysis). Its at around 50 degrees idle, and 86 degrees on max load (using FurMark). I don't know how old drivers you think i should try but i will install the oldest i can find on the nVidia page (258.96).

I tried to install the 258.96 drivers, the oldest ones i could find on the nVidia page. The problem is still there. Should i google for some even older drivers? Getting pretty desperate...

Sorry for the triple-post btw.
