If you imported your ME1 face into ME2, the code shown on the character screen is a dummy code. That's why it isn't working in the ME3 demo. When you import into the full game, it should be fine/better.Feanor_II wrote...

My test Femshep improved from ME2 - Better eyes and better hair! She looks better in the cutscenes compared to the creation screen for some reason.

Yes, its that the full game will construct the face directly from the save game instead of using the code system, which has changed. So if I understand it, everyone's faces should be accurate in the final game. We'll see.
