How well did your Shepard translate from ME2 to ME3

I didn't like it - her eyes are all wrong. They're rough, jagged, they constantly clip and have this annoying "crinkliness" about them; when back in ME1 and 2 they were smooth. Also, the eye makeup has practically buggered off.

This is literally the only problem I have with ME3 - everything else is fantastic... amazing, even. But it pisses me off that while default Manshep has been translated into ME3 looking exactly as he did before, without the above problems, my Femshep now looks like she has eyelids made out of paper.

translated okay only problem i have with the character creator is the lip colors, and makeup colors didn't translate at all and then there is the fact that in the previous ME installments you could always pick the default femshep's hair style in the demo you cannot pick the new default femsheps hair style in ME3. it sucks.

Mine didn't translate well at all. Hopefully, this is just a problem with facecodes not translating to ME3 properly, but Bioware has been silent on the issue.

Terribly... somehow she chopped off her hair and dyed it black without me knowing...

Well, it has been a while since we last saw out Shepards... Maybe your Shepard never went through her Punk Rock phase as a teenager?

Probably the biggest problem here could be solved by changing the lips from 7 to 8 (8 is the new default).

Oddly, the only place her face and facial structure looked consistent with her ME1/ME2 iteration was when she was knocked on her arse.

Yeah, I noticed this. I've been doing some tinkering, but I can't quite get her face shape correct, either. It comes out oblong, and (it appears) she's missing her chin from a lot of angles.

Could just be odd angles. There were quite a few of them in ME2.

Other than hair color, my Shepard looks identical to her ME2 version =/

Personally I'm quite curious at how the Sheps with custom headmorphs turn out. I'm using 3 right now, I think, including one of AwesomeName's.

OTOH, my old default femshep looked 100x better with just a few tweaks in ME3.

It's the damned eyes. Aside from the lack of makeup, I think they added an extra fold of skin above the top eyelids, which constantly clip with each other (once you see it, you cannot unsee).

EDIT:

Before I forget, here's my ME2 Shep:

Here's an ME3 Shep based on the above - not happy at all:

On the subject of eyes: Anyone else think the whites of the eyes look a little reddish/pinkish sometimes?

The face itself is identical. The hair however, bleh, I don't like the ME3 version of her hairstyle so I've given her a new one. But either way, she's my Shep through and through.

The only alteration I made to mine was eye colour - which, because they're just a bunch of colour variables, should theoretically transfer...  I asked the devs and Manveer Heir said that a direct import should look at the saved data, not the ME2's face code.

Overall my Shepard imported nicely, but there's something up with his eyes. His skin is really pink and puffy around his eyes and in the CC the whites of his eyes look yellowish.

But everything else transfered fine

I don't know about male sheps, but for females, we regularly have this problem - drives me nuts... I just cannot ignore it:

He transferred quite well.  In fact, he looks even better than before.  Hooray for an actual dark brown hair color option!

Another thing: my Shep's eyes keep clipping into her face. Not much of a problem in ME1 and 2, but it happened more in the demo thant he first two games combined. Hopefully, that won't happen quite so much in the game, or, I may have to tweak. My Sheps all have crazy eye depth, which is part of it.

It's the eyes everybody. For some reason the eyes just didn't translate well. We'll have to play around with the settings a bit to get our Sheps reoriented. lol

I used my ME2 code, which I imported from ME1. She came out pretty close, but her eyes look way too big, her face is a bit pudgy and small, and overall she looks very child-like. I'm not very pleased at this point, but perhaps the actual game will be better on her...

Doesn't help that the game is less vibrant and therefore the characters look sickly.

My Shep turned out pretty much the same. Her hair looks so much better (healthier, less glued to her head, nicer color), but her mouth is a bit wonky at parts. However, I feel like she looks pretty much like how she looked during ME2.
