My Shep turned out pretty much the same. Her hair looks so much better (healthier, less glued to her head, nicer color), but her mouth is a bit wonky at parts. However, I feel like she looks pretty much like how she looked during ME2.

Pretty cool that you managed to get 2 screen shots of her with the exact same expression on her face. Or is that her neutral look?

I didn't use a face code.  I tried to create him from scratch, and he turned out ugly as hell.  His cheeks were fat, like a chipmunks'.  I was mostly satisfied with my ME2 faces, so I hope the imported characters will transition more smoothly than this!

The new brown hair is ugly as heck too. To get the proper brown color you need to grab a darker version. In ME1 and ME2 the brown hair was easier to select. Like I said this isn't the best editor for the game.

My test Femshep improved from ME2 - Better eyes and better hair!  She looks better in the cutscenes compared to the creation screen for some reason.

This is the best transition that I've seen so far.  An actual improvement.

I disagree.  I actually like the dark brown in ME3.  The old brown had a slight redness to it, which I didn't like.

No I'm talking about the default brown hair from the presets. The default brown hair is a reddish brown. In ME1 and ME2 the brown hair is not reddish at all. So to get the proper shade of brown in ME3 you have to pick dark brown hair. There is no light brown hair at all.

Really well. My Shep's face was exactly the same as it was in ME2. I even added some stuble, **** looked awesome.

I'm less concerned about the codes not transferring right and more about the complete lack of certain hair colors that were in the previous games (like NATURAL RED, come on!!!!!). Also it would be nice if some of the Femshep hairstyles were curly or at least wavy!

But yeah, I'll be really annoyed if my Shepard that I've taken through two games already and gotten very attached to is suddenly forced to have a different hair color in the grand finale.

I wish they kept the scars from the first ME, even though I understand why they were taken out. My import doesn't look the same with them...

I remade my Shepard from scratch, so didn't copy the code. He looked really, really weird... It was just the remodel of the hairstyle, looks quite different but more realistic. Will have to play around with It more In the full game to get used to It, but I'm pretty proud with It all so far.

Well enough that I'm not worried about a direct import in the full version:

My ME2 Femshep has that realism to her that makes you feel attached to the character by looking at her. ME3 Femshep is like a step back from ME2. The realism is totally lost in ME3, and she looks nothing more than an animated cartoon character. I don't even recognize her anymore. The problems lies in the makeup (eyeshadow) as well as texture quality of the character.

Looks great in ME3. Would you care to share the face code?

Supposedly we will be able to edit an imported face, instead of having to rely on face codes.

Poorly. My char looked so fantastic & realistic in ME2. She looked exactly how a 31 y/o should look. Now she looks like shes decreased in age by about 10 years

Very badly.
He looks like they added a few extra chromosomes when I imported his face. Can't for the life of me recreate my ME2 Shepard.

Thx for posting this, we'll see how this turns out. I'm also very excited to know they're also working on specific femshep animation :) no more femshep dude animation I hope.

This is a variation of "Andromeda" from the ME2 Faces Database.  I'd like to tighten up and elongate her jawline a little if they'll allow it in ME3, otherwise no complaints.

Personally I'm quite curious at how the Sheps with custom headmorphs turn out. I'm using 3 right now, I think, including one of AwesomeName's.

OTOH, my old default femshep looked 100x better with just a few tweaks in ME3.

The only alteration I made to mine was eye colour - which, because they're just a bunch of colour variables, should theoretically transfer...  I asked the devs and Manveer Heir said that a direct import should look at the saved data, not the ME2's face code.

Excellent - however the catch is that it may no longer be possible to tweak certain Sheps w/o risking ruin...

...True, but I think there's a chance that the CC might convert the imported face into face code form in order to reconcile it with the new system. The new CC can only work with what its got.

Mine turned out fine. I changed his hair, just for the sake of making him look a little different, but otherwise he looked the way he should have.
