...True, but I think there's a chance that the CC might convert the imported face into face code form in order to reconcile it with the new system. The new CC can only work with what its got.

Yes, its that the full game will construct the face directly from the save game instead of using the code system, which has changed. So if I understand it, everyone's faces should be accurate in the final game. We'll see.

That is how it worked in ME2. ME3's CC will assign your character a face code, but it will probably be inaccurate.

Now I remember something about "Sam"..........

First time I imported it I wanted to edit a few things (Hair & beard) but i couldn't so I started the game, took note of the face code and reestarted again, when I introduced the code the resulting character had nothing to do with the original

Mine turned out okay, but I had to tweak her a bit to make her look like herself.

Some scenes it's spot on, others looks almost nothing like her. Not that you can tell here, but she also looks older in some situations, so I gave her greying hair fore the final chapter.

Considering I can't get a screencap from the Demo, i'll just compare it to my Canon LV30 Paragade Soldier: Adrian Shepard.
The only difference between the ME2-3b Port was that his skin went down a tone, which was easily rectified. The rest was the same as below, with updated textures:

Poorly. My char looked so fantastic & realistic in ME2. She looked exactly how a 31 y/o should look. Now she looks like shes decreased in age by about 10 years

Well look at it this way; she's gone from looking how a 31 year old should look NOW, to how a 31 year old should look in the Mass Effect universe.

Since a woman who looked like a modern 30 year old then would most likely actually be between 50 and 70.

Does anyone know how to get your Character Code on the Consoles from Imported characters?

Or just the code if you look at the 1st Mass Effect. I can't seem to find it for my Shepards so I could see how they transferred to the new graphics.

Come on Bioware, you could fix that right? Right?

The code is removed for ME1-2 Imports. Probably due to the original ME1 code having to be translated and integrated into ME2-format. It'll still remember it in ME3, though; and there are Dev-Promises that ME1-2-3 Imports can be tweaked to an extent.

Hmmm. Well that sucks. Thanks Epsilon.

My Paragon looks the same in ME2 thankfully, but my Renegade looks a little different (I think his forehead is bigger, lol).
I hope they don't change for ME3. IF they do, I hope that they let you tweak them in the character creator, yeah. I mean, the hair for both of my characters isn't available from what I saw for example.

I don't understand Bioware. In the first one there was a Profile for Shepard in the Codex. You could've thrown the Code for your character in there or something. Argh.

I've been entirely unable to recreate my Shepard. The character code bears only a slight resemblance. Holding out hope that like ME2, importing will do correct the differences.

I think the face codes vary a little, As my guy turned out looking quite different. Had to make major adjustments. It also gave me a different eye color but I believe this is due to there being more of an eye color variation to choose from in ME3 compared to ME2.
I'm pretty sure it will treat my import differently though, well I most certainly hope so. But it should be an easy fix nevertheless :3

'I've been entirely unable to recreate my Shepard.'
That's my Paragon in a nutshell right there. He looks pretty unique.

I think I could re-make my Renegade (I tried on the demo, but it was taking to long and I didn't see the point. I mean, its a demo.), but I'm not totally sure.
Anyhow. Done posting here since no help with obtaining Character Code apparently. 8 (

Mine did not translate very well :( I sadfaced. The new CC isn't very good now. Everything looks like it's made out of clay.

Indeed.

And the hair (for femshep) is very strange now. The proportions have altered dramatically in relation to the size/shape of the face, so it completely alters the way a face looks. And half of them look like very bad wigs that have slipped in the wind.

Mine had to lower the face size and change the hair.
Besides that translated well.

I'm not happy at all with my Shep's transformation. From my ME2 Shep:

to this hairy man

Fortunately I was able to tweak it a little to make him look a little closer to my ME2 Shep:

PS3 btw. Hopefully we can still edit the face after importing the ME2 Shep?:(

I did the face code thing today. All that changed was the eye color (which I changed back). Oh, and the hair color is weird on the ME3 demo. Brown hair does not exist. It's either "blondish brown" or "so dark that it's actually black". And yet, there is a shade of gray that has an icy blue hue, for some reason.

Mine didn't translate at all. I hope I don't have any related issues on launch day.

Mine didn't either at first, had to manually tweak it... also keep in mind that the in-game version is going to look a bit different from even that.
