Has anyone heard anything about the relationships in ME 2 having an impact on ME 3 if they import a character? I really hope so. I'll be honest, first time playing ME 2 (having skipped ME 1) I didn't like the game until I met up with Garrus. Later finding out that he's available for romancing for Female Sheperd, I restarted the game with a fem Shep. (That might be weird since I'm a dude but I know I'm not the only one, just one of the only ones willing to admit it!)
Anyway, the point is, I would hate to have to "re-romance" a character as that would seem a bit silly and pointless to me, or even worse that the relationships in ME 2 meant absolutley nothing at all, like it never happened.
Will relationships in ME 2 matter in ME 3?

Yes it does. Your relationship isn't automatically finished but they will still have feelings for you.

What I took from this is that, hopefully, there is more to do within the relationships and there will be extra dialogue/options in game, which is what I'm looking for/ward to.
