Sorry that I don't know how to do this, but I've read a few people saying that they copied their character face codes of Shepard from ME2 to ME3 demo and wanted to know how to do this?

You write them down. Go to the Squad screen in ME2 and copy down the code for your character. Then input it in the ME3 demo character creation. That's how you do it on the consoles, anyway.

Thanks Rockpopple, pc gamer, so hopefully it's the same as consoles.

Can't do it for chars whose faces were kept from Mass Effect 1. Seems very, very... eh, unfunny.

It also isn't a perfect copy. My main shep went from a Caucasian to Asian.

And for some reason, red hair (not RED red, just like, normal red) simply isn't in the demo. When I pasted my Shepard's face codes, she had blonde hair.

The demo has a stripped down character creator, and the options are slightly different besides that so your face code will probably not come out quite right.

Has that been confirmed? Or are you just guessing?

I think my Renegade FemShep actually got better looking in ME3 - mainly the better hairdo, but the eyebrows are pretty good too.  I'll have to experiment with some of my other Sheps.

As with ME2, I can't stand the maleshep, so I will be using sheploo. But, for my femshep, she was the same and in some ways better than the pic in my avatar. Copied the face code and only tweaked the hairstyle (most of which are crap), new hair color, and eye color.

If this truly is a stripped version, then i'll be happy. However, if it's the final then someone should really take a long hard look at all the male options and many of the female options (like the hair).

I clicked my squad screen maybe 500 times and there's no code to copy.

I checked one of my other Sheps in ME2 and he doesn't have a face code either. Even bringing him up in the ME Save Editor yields a blank face code, so I'm not sure how his face is created. He was a custom build that started in ME2 with no mods, so ???

If your face is imported from ME1, there is no face code to copy in ME2 (on PC anyway). What I did was to recreate my face during the character creation process in ME2, then the face code shows up in both the character creation menu and the squad power menu.

Pain in the ass, really...and there is no guarantee that the ME2 face code will work 100 percent in the demo.

I believe this is also the case if you re-imported your ME2 character to replay with the same character (no face code). Unfortunately, I deleted my original save files where my Shep was first created so his code is gone forever.

I copied the code in - my ME2 FemShep was meant to look like Lucy Liu. The ME3 FemShep with the code still look like one of the default face set with orange bob and green eyes. Sigh.

The three codes I tried came out horrible! They all look like completely different people. I was really shocked...

And perhaps the most puzzling:

I just hope this doesn't happen when I import them into the final product.... : (

I gave up trying to use the codes in the end and managed to recreate my Shepard almost identical manually, though as some have already pointed, some issues with the hair. Her parting of is now on the opposite side from where it used to be.

from what I understand, character import isnt the same as just copying the character code. (which is why when you imported an ME1 character to ME2 you couldn't get the character code in ME2.

I'll upload mine later, but anyways, the face code copy is really crappy for most femsheps (mainly because of the different hairstyles) so sadly i had to change my shep a bit...
I just hope there will be more customization options in the full game (BTW Bioware the default femshep's hairstyle will be nice ty) Posted Image

i didnt write mine down. You can copy the code, save it in word or something. Then copy that and paste into me3.

My Femshep looks completely different at ME3, there's not even the same eyes and hairstyle, so I will have to play ME3 with a Femshep that is not the same that the one I created and played since ME1. It's very dissapointing.
