Anyone else having trouble getting your teammates to even follow the current objective? I swear most games the team I join loses in the first three because they fail to go after key targets, or hack because they are too busy running around halfway across the map killing generic mooks on a VERY limited time limit.

Its frustrating.

PTFO is a concept lost on so many, sadly. You'd think it'd be better on a cooperative horde mode, but alas.

Maybe they're new to the demo. Just play with them for a few games and maybe things'll pick up once they get used to it.

I'd love to if they didn't quit after losing.

Only seen that happen once, most people are pretty decent at going for the objective.

Well, eventually new players will figure out that after a match, they go back to the lobby with the same group. That might stop some from inadvertently quitting.

It's also kind of frustrating when you get N7 rank 1s who just started playing gold and silver and dying instantly. Kind of off topic I guess.

yeah, I think that has more to do with the random match selection...

The key is once you find a good group of people to stay and do more matches with them. I ended up with two people last night in a match and we three manned two maps one being bronze the other being silver and just stayed in gruop for a few more it was great. On the flip side I have ran into a serious lack of team work with other groups its just one of those pains. Also remember that not everyone has access to MP. Once friday hits a lot more people will be playing MP which can be both a good thing and a bad thing.

This demo's been out since YESTERDAY... you cannot expect EVERYONE to be instant pro's.

I'd like to usher in some teamwork. Unfortunately I never play multiplayer games outside of Smash Bros. so I've never owned a mic. I have one shipping via Amazon; I can coordinate a bit better then. But I'm really, really new to this whole multiplayer shooter 'genre', so yeah.

I wish the demo had keyboard support for the 360. I have a USB keyboard hooked up. I'm a very fast typist and would love to have been able to say basic things like "target's by me" or "come on, let's get to the next objective" via text.

I experienced this problem a few times. My team is very good usally. This night I played with a Vanguard we did it for round 10, then a Phantom appeared... With an other group we won 3-4 Silver matches. And my friends started playing the demo too (This is the first time they played) and we won all of our matches expect one. Look at their ranks at the lobby. If low, quit. That's waht I can tell to you.

I've played on PC and PS3, people seem to be good team players most of the time. There's been a few odd cases of stupid teammates (and admittedly, I've done some stupid things too), but the Demo has only been out for a day. Wait until more people arrive and start getting used to the new mechanics.

It's only happened to me twice, and I only really noticed and cared about it a few hours ago when a guy, who was literally shooting right next to me, continued to do so as I died instead of breaking away from cover for a second to revive me.

I quit immediately after that, of course.

I wish I had a radar so I could see what's going on better and not following around the higher level players all the time.

That said, I think people are working reasonably well together from what I've seen, though the ones that know more about what they're doing are getting a lot more of the kills. I had a match where everyone but me were camping out in a building, and I was watching outside and we got surrounded. I tried yelling at them to get outside to help me, because I was getting overwhelmed on both sides, but I don't think anyone heard me before the troopers overwhelmed me and surrounded the building. Everyone died shortly after that.

Moral of the story? Leave more people outside the buildings to guard, because your situational awareness inside the building SUCKS. Lol.

What really pisses me off is when they won't revive someone whom has been knocked down. I realize that there are not so skilled players, but letting die and making them sit out offers no benefits to anyone. So usually, I have to rush to the other side and save them.

Then again, I relish feeling like a medic...

I always rez people if I possibly can...seems like a d*ck move not to, you know? I know I went and rezzed the highest level person on our team because he was in the cover beside me and I could just pop over real quick to help him. But if the area is too hot, I won't risk becoming part of the problem...then you have two dead guys instead of one. Lol.

Look! It's the spoooooky ghost of Christmas Past! 10 months ago, in the demo, people were already complaining about how terrible PuGs are, and they weren't even using that term yet.

It's like this place never ages.
