The Bad: Every move that involves using cover, moving in and out of cover etc, uses the space key. In fact, just about every non combat function uses the space key. That's a good thing and bad thing. Good in that it's simple and easy to learn; bad because it makes it hard to specify exactly what you want to do during intense combat.
I found it really hard to move into cover that doesn't involves me/shepard doing a front row to the wall first. Well .. some of the times anyways.
One more thing about cover: why is it not possible to shoot someone on your side of cover now? As in when you're in cover, some enemy comes around to your side, BUT now you can't shoot to the side while in cover now?
And this is just a suggestion I would say - as I've mentioned, the combat is now faster, but your ability to speedily switch between different weapons hasn't matched the adrenelin pumping gameplay. There are four weapons available to shepard in the demo, but you can only switch (fast) between two of the four weapons available. As a result, I find myself constantly pausing the game just to switch between weapons.
A better system would be the hotkey system for weapons from ME1, where F1-F4 makes quick switch between weapons and consequencially, uninterrupted combat.
And this is my suggestion for ME3.
