I know this is a game targeted for a more mature audience, and not many younger gamers really have an interest to post on forums.. But it's worth a shot anyway.

I don't mind playing with people older than I am, but it limits conversation, since we are pretty much a generation apart. I'm 17 years old and the guys I've played with I'm sure would rather play with someone older than a kid like me. With that said, is there anyone my age who participates on these forums? If so, let me know. Unfortunately for me, the RPG audience is almost strictly older people, leaving a bunch of lack of interest between us. People my age would rather be playing games like COD.. Leaving me pretty much a lone wolf /: . Well.. Let me know, thanks :D

I'm 22 I just play I don't speak much on mics or so. I'm unsure what ages people are when I play. I think though they should have good settings as well finding a Match like other players  that are your rank.

I'm around your age. I generally don't speak though unless someone is speaking to me, or I have a friend with me.

I'm 24 and I'm fine with anyone 17+, it's the really young teen crowd I'm not a fan playing with. But like you said, they'll probably not flock to ME3's multiplayer and stick with Halo and Call of Duty (yay!).

Totally agree, but to an extent. When it comes to topics of conversation and stuff like that, there's not much common interest. It's not a big deal, but I'm sure everyone prefers to play with people their age that watched the same TV shows and stuff like that

21. If you don't screw me over I wont ruin the rest of the match for you. A team is only as good as those willing to make it work. Anyone else is a damn liability. Guys I play with let the weaker players die off quick if they don't catch on to what needs to be done. So far I see kids wasting rockets on Assault Troopers rather than on the Atlas. Or going head first into the blade of a Phantom.

I wouldn't fall into that category. The snappiness is kind of off-putting I must say.. Not intending to offend you, I'm just pretty laid back and my enjoyment is more on the social aspect of multiplayer (Due to my lack of friends IRL...), than stressing myself out over performing well. This doesn't mean I goof off or don't try, but I'd rather play with a more laid back group of people as well.

This, so much of this. Hell, I seen some guy use a rocket close quarters on a single half dead Assault Trooper, his exuse, he had no ammo ... He was in melee distance and I later found out he had an ammo pack.

I am 15 and don't speak on Xbox Live unless I am in a party with my friends. I am yet to find a ME3 game where the players are using their Mics however.

I'm scared of the number 12.. I made the mistake of playing with a 12 year old on a regular basis(told me he was 14) for a month. For some reason he felt the need to lie to me and tell me he was max level at every single game I mentioned, and that he had a modded xbox.. Using "On my other account" as back up. I also had to witness him cursing at his mother.. quite disturbing. After a month, my tolerance for his conduct went away and I just erased him, and went the extra mile and paid $10 for a GT change. I doubt kids who are 12 have any interest in Mass Effect though, as it's story oriented, not a twitch shooter.

24. OK with people from 15 or so on up so long as they're, erm, maturing at a normal pace. Lol. I can deal with normal 15-year-olds. Not so much with the really stupid ones.

That said, there are plenty of stupid 24-year-olds. So yeah. I guess it's just kind of... a different sort of dumb.

Maybe things are different now. But when I was 12 I was all over RPGs.

Pretty heavy stereotyping there pal. Of course, in many cases you are right and I would agree with you.
Guess I've been a bit of an exception there. I've always loved RPGs ever since I got into gaming. Heck, I ran guilds in MMOs back then and no one questioned my age. Kind of funny, I never told them my age due to the whole prejudice, but they were convinced I was somewhere in the 20-25 range most of the time.

Worked for me I guess.  (Admittedly I hated people around my age back then so it didn't COMPLETELY work)

I was too. I used to love Pokemon, Diablo, FF, Kingdom Hearts, Zelda, and other RPGs at that age.. But that was because despite my ADD (lol), I've always had an IQ slightly above average. So I enjoyed the story elements added to games. Normally, at that age, cutscenes are the enemy, while action, gore, and graphics are what matter most xD

@Haasth Yeah I just realized how stereotypical I came off.. but I was just supporting my story of the little devil I dealt with for a month. I believe myself to be very open-minded and zen, hate sounding like a ******. I was just referring to the general interests we have at that age. Personally, I would've enjoyed the Mass Effect series a lot less at 12 years old than I do now. I feel you on the MMO thing though. I've grown to dislike the MMO genre, but when I was 12 I started playing WoW, and I chose the stereotypical class for younger gamers (Hunter), I also lied about my age due to the embarrassment felt when called a squeaker, and names of that sort. I'm sure my guildies on Vent knew I was full of crap lol

Yeah, for me it's been FF, Xenogears, Pokemon, Chrono Trigger... lots and lots of Square and some Nintendo as well. Fire Emblem... Suikoden. Man, Japan used to be on top of my life. Also, Zelda. Geez. I still like these games and replay them often but I can't get into a lot of the newer Japanese games for some reason. /shrug Oh well.

I was the same way. A few select friends and I played games for their plots and characterization whilst the rest of our school laughed at us, lol.

I'm 20 and play... I really didn't know there was a gap. How I seem over the mic depends on whom else is there. If you're talkative, I am too. If you're not, I don't speak. Personally, I love trash-talking the bad guys xD

I'm sixteen. Anyone up for some multi-player matches? I'm sick of everyone going down on the first wave.
