The trick to using a headset, is learning when and perhaps more importantly when not to speak.

Hey, i'm 15, and I wasn't actually going to post in this thread until I saw the posters mentioning that people my age don't like RPG's, and are all immature. Point One: RPG's have been my most favourite genre since I played Baldur's Gate 2 when I was 8, and to be honest I don't really like shooters, I occasionally play them to get rid of my rage that I gain every now and then, but other than that, I don't like shooters. I think the main reason I do like RPG's is because of the story and actual mechanics, the way your character evolves the more you play gives me a good feeling, don't know why mind. Point Two: Fair enough, some people in my age group are immature, some very much so, but I hate how some people categorise people in my age group all together, age does not equal maturity, I don't even know how people who think this can consider themselves mature.

To be honest I can play with anyone as long as they pull their own weight and doesn't get aggresive or insulting. Anyhow, I have a PS3, and my PSN is crepe100, so if anyone wants to play Mass Effect 3.

It wasn't a statement set in stone. If you enjoy RPGs at a young age, you must be an intelligent individual. It's more the average kid I was referring to. What the perception of a kid on Xbox generally is. That also sounds very stereotypical and douchey, but I'm sure enjoying story elements correlates with someone's IQ. Not to say there's anything wrong with that either. I surely didn't mean to contribute to this discussion getting ugly.

It's alright, even vague ageism generally riles me, I think it's because of the general categorisation of my age range that floats around a lot these days. I often feel is if I have to quickly quell categorisation everytime I see it on these forums.

@Crepe Well, either way I don't think it was one of my posts you took offense to, seeing as I'm 17 lol. The whole point of this post was to reach out to people my age to add me so we can play some co-op together, not start an argument. I'm on xbox, and my GT is Gym class Zero. If you want to play some co-op while hanging out in party chat, feel free to add me

I know this is a game targeted for a more mature audience, and not many younger gamers really have an interest to post on forums.. But it's worth a shot anyway.

I don't mind playing with people older than I am, but it limits conversation, since we are pretty much a generation apart. I'm 17 years old and the guys I've played with I'm sure would rather play with someone older than a kid like me. With that said, is there anyone my age who participates on these forums? If so, let me know. Unfortunately for me, the RPG audience is almost strictly older people, leaving a bunch of lack of interest between us. People my age would rather be playing games like COD.. Leaving me pretty much a lone wolf /: . Well.. Let me know, thanks :D

That was the purpose of this post :(

Psht...kids.

I was a teenager when Nirvana started topping the charts.

I'm jealous.

When I was a teenager, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and Korn were the top bands. <_<
The 90's were cool, but not as cool as the 80's. I wish I was born a decade earlier, but ahhh well, whatever.... :)
