Ehh A good Biotic/Sniper can take them no problem. There tuff only when you dont know their there and they got full auto on you A**. Still find cover then slowly take them down, if theres an Combat Engineer take him down first, since he will juest keep reparing and reparing and reparing and reparing and reparing.

Eh, I have no problem with them as a soldier, one of my frags is enough to destroy it. Just make sure not to leave cover in front of an active one. =P

Turrets seem strong to me when I play anything other than my vanguard, but on my vanguard biotic charge + nova followed by a shotgun blast makes short work of turrets (and basically anything other than Atlas mechs really)

Maxed out incinerate destroys a partially shielded or unshielded turret. Go Engies!

Taking them out is not a problem.
.
The problem is when you can't.

Well then don't stand in front of them.

What's surprising is when you're expecting them to despawn after a round and then run into one at the beginning of the next.

The issue I have with turrets is that they take a lot more effort to put down than a soldier but blowing it up only rewards you with 150XP. IMO they should either make them easier to destroy, or make the XP higher.

I agree. With 245 points for a soldier, which I can kill in 1 incinerate, 150 is way to low for a turret that takes a maxed overload followed by an incinerate to kill.

Like when a Phantom is on your arse like a bad rash, in those instances it is a case of "GO GO GO!" away from them both

She definitly deserves to be having the age old "I will destroy you line!" she's a real beatch if not handled properly just as a Turret is

as a Krogan soldier turrets are the only thing that give me pause anything else gets a rage induced heavy melee to the afterlife but the turrets dont go down in one hit

atlas just kite to death
guardian a few pistol rounds though the slot
nemesis just lolcharge one heavy melee kill
phantom same as above (but dont miss or you will get stabbed)
turret area denial king more scary then all of the above the only real boss as far as im concerned (and has a tendency to make the pancake effect which i find amusing, how hard it is it to not run to a downed teammate blindly to revive him lol)

Turrets are annoying if you don't spot them. If I'm rocking a sniper rifle I tend to like taking down engineers before they can deploy them. That said, once you know where they are they can be taken down easily.

Haha, yeh I struggled considerably against Phantom's when I was playing alone yesterday. She'd always sneak up on me, then I realised it's probably dumb to try and snipe her point blank (I have a tendency to no scope up close cos im an FPS scrub) and should just switch to the Phalanx... then she dies.

Turrets equally go down in one Tactical Cloaked clip of a Viper, but then was only playing on bronze for the most part yesterday.

I've had one match where every turret went invisible as soon as they fully deploy.

It was a distressing experience.

Turrents go down pretty easily...when you can see them. Yesterday we had a match where 2 turrents took out the entire team out, because we were too busy focusing on the Atlas to notice them.

Turrents aren't too bad. Now Phantoms, they are beyond overpowered. I get one shotted by em and most of the time don't even get a chance to use a medigel.

Turian Sentinals Make short work of the turrets using overload and will instantly drop barrier on Phantoms, Turrets.

Overload Rank 1,2,3, 30% DMG Increase, 25% Faster recharge, 100% Dmg Increase. It will drop centurion, engineer, turret and phantom barrier or shields in 1 hit. Garrus will defiantly be useful with his overload

Wait, overload now takes down barriers too?

Yeap. i have tried it in MP and it will drop all phantom barriers with 1 hit (Overload must be upgraded fully with the damage path for this to happen). Its well worth.

It can also damage organics - and one of the Overload evolutions is Neural Shock, which does even more damage to organics.
