they should indicate the turret with something. Yesterday i was playing my vanguard and i charged in. guess what? an engineer deployed a turret just around the corner and i get shredded. not so fun

Yeah, I noticed that, wich is quite nice, but I haven't played with sentinel yet, so I didn't knew that overload also worked on barriers.

Adepts with warp can easily destroy turrets. Asari adepts can take out the engineers with stasis bubble.

Turrets are great area denial tools but two of them in one spot make for a very painful round.

You know what pisses me off to no end? People who get killed by a turret, and don't say anything before I run to revive them and get gunned down by the thing.

The only strategy I can think of that works for me every time is just to hide behind a wall and continuously fire at it. Throw seems to do a pretty good job with it too.

But yeah, you're right. Those things can be pretty brutal. >_<

Agreed, but most people (At least the ones I've joined) don't even use mics. But then again, neither do I. :P

Spotting where they are is the key. Listen for the sounds of an engineer setting up a turret. Snipe or take out the engineers first. Then, 2x snipe the turret/overload+incinerate em'. Stay in cover. Only shoot at the turrets when they finish their rail gun or when they're reloading.

I deal with them like this: I find some corner where it can't shoot me and then I proceed to shoot it down. If there is too many enemies, I'll just frag it with my soldier (2 is enough as I took radius instead of damage) or charge it with my Vanguard (when I've dropped it's shields).

Overload/Warp + Widow = No more turret. Also no more Engineer if he's repairing the turret when the widow goes off, that armour penetration on the widow is fantastic.
Alternatively a flame turret + a few pistol AR shots.

Quarian Engineer+Flamethower Turret w/ Armor Piercing rounds. No enemy turret will survive.

Good idea actually. Whenever I die as a Vanguard, chances are there was a turret (or two) near-by I didn't notice. 
Or, as it happended at least once to me, the turret was just invisible. I hope this was a bug, though.

Random team mate guy: They deployed a turrent! I will stand in front of it! That will show them I are greetest.

thats how I die 90% from turrets. and I think the thing is why are there no type chat in game?

They really need to let Krogans headbutt/ melee turrets. What's the point of spec-ing for melee damage when you're stopped cold by one of those death traps?

thats how I die 90% from turrets. and I think the thing is why are there no type chat in game?

There's a freaking kill-feed on the lower right corner, just check it if someone from your team dies to know if it was a turret or a phantom.

My krogan soldier usually kills turrets with one melee, i dont know what you are talking about.
