but Emily is a Citadel reporter so by now she would be connected and she KNOWS Shepard personally...I mean from story telling purpose they already had a cool reporter that we got to know a biy over two games...I mean she even emails shep in ME2...seriously what was the need to create a third reporter character...

Beats me. I rather liked Emily Wong myself. Perhaps there's a story reason behind it (something happened to Ms. Wong, someone to have a catfight with Khalisah).

It's likely as others have stated, that she's a military reporter as opposed to Emily whose just a journalist. Still I miss Ms. Wong :-(

Does getting a 10/10 on IGN benefit them? At least monetarily? Has to be worth something, to waste development time putting in a goblin like chobot in the game.

Emily Wong isn't a war reporter? I never would have saw her in that role. Hell we never even see her in ME2 other than here some news reports from her.
