I don't find an option in the AMD catalyst to set custom resolutions.

No love for the original poster? Haha, j/king.

While I appreciated your efforts, I am not willing to go playing around with my desktop sizes or messing up anything external to the game.    I don't only play just 1 game at a time and constantly changing things back and forth would be a major pain.

You will if a game comes out with no ini file to config... Lol

Look for your resize desktop option.

I can resize, but I can't add a custom resolution like 1920x810. I have to pick one from the list.

You should not have to do anything to custom resolution to get it to work.

Just resize desktop and then immediately run the game...

That’s how it works on Nvidia, maybe not ATI otherwise.

If that still doesn't work, use:

Actually found an easier way, go to:

C:UsersusernameDocumentsBioWareMass Effect 3 DemoBIOGameConfig: gamersettings.ini

Change the vert res to 810. I like it, only thing is navigating the menus is a pain since to can't see the top or the bottom of some things.

For some reason reducing the vert res also reduces my hor res. Or the aspect ration is flipping, that's also possible.

Edit: Yeah, it was a scaling issue.

Does it help you out with your FOV problem?

No. Using the config tweak to change the resolution to 1920x810 the game itself lowers the resolution to 1280x800. It has letterboxes at first, then removes them once combat starts. Apparently the AMD Catalyst doesn't have a feature for custom resolutions.

Does it have a resize desktop option?

If it does, set the game to 1920x1080 first, exit the game, then lower the vertical resolution via resize desktop, and go back in and play. Do not go into the menu to look at the res or you will change it again. Just play the game.

No resize desktop option.
