Hahahaha no.

I like them the way they are. Challenging is good. Plus, a missile down the throat is always a good solution.

Phantoms are easy, my engineer's overload destroys their barrier along with almost 2 bars of their health. On my asari adept I can just spam warp on them and then spam stasis for a free kill since in me3 mp you can damage enemies while they are in stasis.

Don't nerf Phantoms! They make MP more exciting. I love the 'Ohhhh Shiiiii-' reaction when one turns up.

Exactly, it's part of the fun.

If you've seen a krogan in action you would say otherwise. Saw a krogan kill a phantom in a single hit. Awesomesauce!

There needs to be something to make up for the Atlas' poor ability at being challenging.
The Phantom fits right in.

They add to the challenge!

Set up stasis, then get an infiltrator to shoot it in the head.

I like the phantoms too. I love that they're so hard to kill and are sneaky as hell. That's what makes killing them so darn satisfying.

Nerfing, dumbing down is not a good idea when there are already legitimate tactic to take down fantom relatively easily.

Wish they can add more hardcore enemies with different type of tactics for game's longevity.

there will be more enemies in the full gam like reaper forces maybe geth? i'm hoping for a mixed thing where you don't know what enemy type you'll be facing

I love how hard they are to fight. There are ways of dealing with them like stasis or just long range, but toe-to-toe they are excellent late level enemies. My vanguard always tries to fight them with melee after charging in :) the only enemy i find should be changed is the engineer turret. i think it should be easier to flank them by having a limited traverse (say 270 degrees) so you can get behind them.

I think they are perfect, you need a hard enemy like them, makes you think quickly and use your powers well.

That needs fixing, part of the strategy of stasis is to crowd control.

I mainly play a human female vanguard, and I find phantoms laughably easy.

Charge -> Nova -> Shotgun.

If they are still alive after that I just do it again, since Charge has a super short cooldown if you use Nova right afterwards, and Charge will refill your shields allowing for another Nova.

That said they terrify me on any other class :(

I have encountered a difficult enemy I cannot kill easily, please reduce it's capabilities so I am not challenged as much.

You gotta watch using Nova on a Phantom, makes you vulnerable to the old sword in the gut trick.

To remedy that you roll backwards after Nova and Charge again.

Charge has a ridiculously short cooldown.

One player warps the barrier. Another puts it in stasis. Then focus your fire on it. It will literally be dead in 5 seconds.

Why nerf something I'm just going to stasis to death with easy?

I think they should be faster, more deadly evading stasis and the likes.
Maybe use cloaking, ( a little bit noticeable one, not completely invisible ), brief stagger effect on player when hit.

Come to think of it, they only has melee weapon and charge without much armor and cloaking?
That's kinda suicidal.

They are easy kill for stasis.
