I love it when they were unconscious from buble stasis but their cloak was on and we couldn't finish her because she's invisible :D

They're biotic space ninjas. You can't nerf biotic space ninjas.

This.

Nova -> Charge -> Nova = Dead Phantom.

They keep the gameplay going, you can't just sit and wait for the enemy to come to you because otherwise you get a stabby thing in your stomach.

Please don't touch Phantoms. Them and (rarely) Guard rushes are the only things that actually enforce some teamwork and looking behind each others' back, rather than simple mowdown.

There's always the option to turn the difficulty down if you can't take the heat.

(that, or make an Asari Vanguard and just steamroll)

Roll a human Vanguard and just charge/nova into them until they're dead. Actually, that's my tactic for everything...

Except Guardians, because there you need to do headshot with shotgun or with your rifle.

For my Asari Adept it was sickeningly easy to deal with a single Phantom and two was only slightly worse off. Since my cool down is fast and my stasis maxed for offense. I lock one in for about seven seconds then use the modded avenger with stabilizer and scope and just lay into her head a full clip.

She drops every time. And with the speed of my cool down, even if I had more then one Phantom on me I can simply focus on the one moving then stasis that one as well before the other one has gotten out of it and is an easy target on the ground.

For the Sentinel Human, its just a slight adjustment to keep moving, use my assault rifle and spam the crap out of throw every now and then. Since the cool down is less then two seconds, it makes it amazingly easy to keep her on the ropes.

The only thing to really worry about is the other enemies when you focus on her and also she can try to cloak herself if given the chance to refresh her barrier. But beyond that she's not as unbeatable as the original poster is claiming.

No problem with vanguard. Charge + heavy melee + nova + charge = dead. Way too easy.

DO NOT NERF. These enemies are awesome. They are not a huge threat if you fight them when they are alone. But if you are in the middle of a heavy firefight, phantoms become the absolute top priority target.

I love how deadly they can be if you leave them unchecked. Please do not change this!

This. If you're having trouble, just try harder.

I'd like to know how they are shoving those knives through heavy metal plates made from advanced alloys,

Just doesn't make a lick of sense.

The entire Cerberus force doesn't actually make any sense come to think about it.

Cerberus does not possess an inifnite army. In fact there are actually very few Cerberus personel and Cerberus's income wouldn't have been large enough to hire mercs on this infinite scale.

Charge + Nova + a little gun fire = dead phantom.

Hell sometimes just to change things up, I punched the little bastards. They're only hard when you're class is relatively low level or if they sneak up on you.

Don't nerf Phantoms! They make MP more exciting. I love the 'Ohhhh Shiiiii-' reaction when one turns up. In fact, we need moar Phantoms. There should be a map with only Phantom spawns. Yeah.

Sounds like you've only been playing on Bronze or something. Even on Silver, you can often get three of them at once spawning and camping your guys once one of them goes down. It's super annoying.

So far, I've only played with the Soldier and the Infiltrator. My soldier is tanky, and carries grenades, so one phantom is usually not a problem. The infiltrator just cloaks, runs in circles, and waits for a chance to headshot it. The problem comes when I'm under fire from other enemies at the same time. When I can't concentrate my efforts on that ninja girl, she becomes an issue.

I'd say buff them. They are one of the easiest enemies to kill if you know what you're doing. Stasis is perhaps the best counter to them.

I'd say that they need to be made resistant, or even immune, to CC effects...

Engineers are the real threat :D

Shh, "mass effect fields"... :P

I love how hard they are to fight.
There are ways of dealing with them like stasis or just long range, but
toe-to-toe they are excellent late level enemies. My vanguard always
tries to fight them with melee after charging in :) the only enemy i
find should be changed is the engineer turret. i think it should be
easier to flank them by having a limited traverse (say 270 degrees) so
you can get behind them.

Yeah I agree, the turret needs something changed.

Phantoms are good though. Once you see the purple bar on the screen, all attention is immediately focused on it!

I don't mind individual phantoms, regardless of whatever class I'm playing.

Phantom spams in late Silver (and Gold) waves is ridiculous though. Don't need nerfing but there should be alternate routes to beat them that don't include asari adepts spamming stasis.

same apply for the turrets, I just run at them, the first burst only takes my shields down, the second burst doesn't happen.
