I think they should be made immune to stasis, cryo blast doesn't affect them after all.

Yup, stasis makes them easy. Basically, the most effective way of killing them is with melee (two players ganging up with heavy melees work fine), it's a high risk - high reward situtation... it can one hit you but you can kill it really fast that way.

Leave them be! They keep you on your toes and all that jazz. Sure, then can one hit kill you, but that's why you have to try and keep them away from you, and zig-zag run away when they are too close to you.

Keep Phantoms the way they are, please. Waves of Phantoms put together during Gold matches is flat out sadistic, but it sure makes the whole experience 10 times more challenging. And I'm all for that.

The entire Cerberus force doesn't actually make any sense come to think about it.

Cerberus does not possess an inifnite army. In fact there are actually very few Cerberus personel and Cerberus's income wouldn't have been large enough to hire mercs on this infinite scale.


Actually, Cerberus has a good steady income of  a couple billion credits. And they can easily hire and train some more poor slobs if they need too, plus Cerberus raises it's own PMC. They have multiple operations all over the galaxy. 
As for the swords the Phantoms use, think about it. Armor has  advanced, sheilds were invented, weapons have practically no ammo concerns so long as you get out the heat. Who said they didn't upgrade old, fan favorite (ie; the katana) swords to fit the new requirements on stabbing and slashing people to death?

 I love how hard they are. The computer NEEDS to be hard because otherwise four players can breeze through easily, which would make MP utterly trivial.

No versus mode means the horde mode must have a wide range of difficulty. I've solo'd the bronze, and I don't consider myself some uber leet player, so I really don't think it's harder than it needs to be.

Oh, and one last thing. Personally, i say you should make the enemy AI even smarter and even more tactical in Multiplayer. But that's just me. This includes Phantoms.

I'm wagering that people who complain about phantoms are playing soldier/infiltrator? With a fully upgraded Overload, I can take down a barrier in one hit. Since I've only got a Kassa Locust equipped, the next Overload comes in 4 seconds and stuns long enough to kill with a heavy melee or gunfire.

I'm a soldier and I take down barrier in a few shot of my Assault Riffle then frag it to hell. Bronze/Silver included.

I got an Asari adept in my starter pack, and leveled up stasis to get the stasis bubble; I never even realised they were any harder than the centurions until I played as another character. XD

S. Infiltrator + mattock on silver:
tactics: energy drain - headshots - energydrain, couple of shots = dead

Asari Adepts - Stasis shots - stasis - shots until it's dead.

don't know about the other classes.

if u get all shots in under 3-4 seconds easily.

My vanguard eats phantoms for breakfast. Though it is essential to take them out first. If I overlook one I tend to end up bleeding to death.

I play as soldier and I think the Phantoms are perfectly fine. I shoot it in the face with the Mattock a few times and poof their head disappears. Works fine on gold too

Note: I'm a "bad" player but if everyone is playing as a team they are easy enough to take down. Anyone with Stasis makes it EASY. Even without Stasis if you headshot her with a Sniper, take down barriers then singularity, etc. and you're fine.

Honestly I think there should be some things that make you weak in the knees or otherwise the game won't have any staying power. Honestly I'm worried about that any way so if you nerf Phantoms then what else is there??

I think Phantoms as they are right now are okay. My only real gripe with the Phantoms is the fact that their... 'arm cannon' attacks immediately take down shields and I've seen some of them spam those moves until someone is downed instead of just closing in like they normally do. If anything, maybe reduce the amount of damage (to either Shields or Health) and everything will be gravy. :P

They really aren't even that bad. Please don't nerf them Bioware, gold is already not that hard as it is.
