I think for the demo, the only ones avaible to unlock are the species in the third row. Quarian Engineer, Krogan Soldier, Drell Vanguard, Asari Adept, Turian Sentinel, Salarian Infiltrator.

Have you seen ANY of these online yet?:

-Male Infiltrator
-Quarian Infiltrator
-Male Vanguard

I haven't! So there's really only 6 classes to unlock in the demo, making them much more rare than they will be in the final game, where there will be 18.

This is just a theory of mine though, I have no comfirmation.

The starter pack unlocked Female Adept for me, I've used it more than any other. I've seen 1 drell aswell.

They are EXTREMELY rare with the packages we can buy. In the main game, we get much more expensive packages with higher rare drop rates, so they are available in the demo, but damn hard to get.

I got Krogan Soldier in my starter pack, and I unlocked at least the Turian Sentinel, which I haven't spent much time on yet.

Still, it would make sense. At the very least, they're much rarer than the few we've seen.

I have a Drell Vanguard.
It's awesome.

Once my female infiltrator hits level 20, it's Vanguard time.

I got a Krogan Soldier and he is awesome. I just heavy melee everything to death. I have seen a quarian engineer and a couple of drell vanguards

Ug, I want to play a Salarian so bad! I've got Krogan Soldier and Asari Adept, but I would trade them in an instant for a Salarian Infiltrator.

I've unlocked both human versions of each class by now, sometimes twice. I've used precisely none of them, but still.

Ive played many, many matches (N7 level 52), and have not seen any of the classes you mentioned OP. Also, i have only unlocked Male Engineer (x2), Krogan Soldier, Drell Vanguard, and Asari Adept

I've yet to unlock ANYTHING in terms of "new characters". I keep unlocking "training xp" for classes which simply gives me free XP for the class I already own and unlocks "armor customization options". Level 26 Overall and level 15 Human Male Soldier. I've also unlocked pretty much nothing but Sniper Rifles and Sniper Rifle Ammo Clips. I have the ammo clip thing at level 7 and the initial sniper I started with at level 7. I'm wondering if I run out of stuff for it to "upgrade" or "unlock" on what it has... If it'll choose things I DON'T yet have to upgrade. Like say... Unlock all the outfits for the 6 classes I have right now, and then unlock all the weapons I have now... If it will give me new stuff. New guns and new characters to play as would be nice... I miss my Vindicator from Mass Effect 2... I will be sadface if it's not in the multiplayer of Mass Effect 3.

The unlocked cards that give training XP are also the ones that unlock new race/gender options. The XP part is just an experience boost so you don't a) have to start a different class from level 1 if you decide to change, and to actually make getting repeated versions of the same unlock card useful in some way.

Anyway. The crates have random drops. 'Random' being the key word.

Level 19 Inflitrator and I have yet to unlock a new class. I've unlocked multiple class I have over and over again. I guess if I was really concerned about armor patterns I'd be excited, but I'm ready for some new races instead.

Level 17 and I haven't unlocked anything else yet. It's a tad annoying. Why not make the drops semi-random as in 'don't unlock things twice'...
