It's not that hard, I just kept buying the veteran packs and eventually got Qurian engineer after a few goes. Though I really wanted the Drell Vanguard :/

I would like to have salarian engineer, I've gotten 2 drell vanguards and turian sentinel.

I've unlocked Salarian Infiltrator and Turian Sentinel with Veteran packs, but since then I've only unlocked weapons or weapons upgrades(only one weapon, actually, the Revenant. The rest have been upgrades). It takes a lot of games, to get through all this stuff, even if you're just doing silver (I've played enough for my N7 rating to get to 63).

I made it my goal to unlock the Quarian Engineer, and of course, I only unlock random stuff that doesnt go well with Engineers, (Viper V anyone?)

Come to think of it, I have only unlocked the Salarian Infiltrator, and that was from my starter pack :/

At least when I get my Quarian ill have some good guns for her :l

They are EXTREMELY rare with the packages we can buy. In the main game, we get much more expensive packages with higher rare drop rates, so they are available in the demo, but damn hard to get.

Can anyone confirm this?

A friend and I talked about what classes we would like to play. Aside from humans, the class I had no interest to play was the Turrian. On the first day I play multi-play I open the starter pack to find the Turian Sentinel has been unlocked. THE IRONY!

So far I only unlocked the Turian Sentinel and only unlocked XP Upgrades for my other characters, which I have including the Human Female Sentinel. Would love to have another Sentinel Character.

I guess I should consider myself lucky that I've gotten a Salarian Infiltrator, Turian Sentinel, and Quarian Engineer.
I believe I have seen a male infiltrator and some Asari Vanguards.
And I think someone said they saw a Krogan Sentinel.
I will say that so far I'm lucky in that I've gotten the race/class combos I've been looking for.
I feel like it MAY have something to do with what you play... that it will tend to give you similar things. Eq I was playing a lot with my infiltrator and sniper rifles, I got the Salarian, I levelled up my sentinel to level 9, I got my Turian. I used my engineer for 3-4 games, I got a Quarian. I never use pistols, I have not unloced a single new pisol model yet.

Not hard to unlock really if your playing Silver or higher, you get more credits and can buy at least 2 vet packs per full match. I had the Quarian Engineer for my starters, and unlocked the Asari Adept lvl 19, Turian Sentinel lvl 20, and gonna get working on my new Salarian Infiltrator I just unlocked. The only one's I haven't were krogan and drell, and I'm not to big a fan of either of them - I'm content!

OP, you are absolutely correct. Just browsed through the game files, and the classes that you listed are indeed excluded from the demo. Sorry to bash anyone's dreams.

Yeah, what I've really wanted was Turian Soldier. But I haven't seen that at all. 

I'm also annoyed that I seem unable to get appearance packs for my guys. Usually when I do get one it's for a character I haven't bothered playing.

Appearance options are unlocked by getting the same race/class card multiple times. Each time you get it, you get one more appearance customization option. Also, Turian Soldiers aren't in the demo.

I'm just annoyed that it's random. I could get to level 20 with a character and be pratically done with it and suddenly start unlocking things.

Is it just me, or does the Salarian Infil seem like the weakest class? Prox mine kinda sucks, and energy drain just isn't that useful until later levels of Silver. Compare to the Human Infil, which gets Cyro (awesome) Sticky Grenade (awesome)?

I have a salarian infiltrator , all my other unlocks have opposite sex humans of the ones you start with.

Yes, but if it does its job, then it works.

You get starter class upgrades more in recruit, and you get a 50/50 between heavier weapons and new races in the Veteran, so save up more.

I'd trade my Asari Adept for a Turian Sentinel right now.

So far I've only unlocked the Salarian Infiltrator. The randomness in the packs seems fair to me. I've gotten a few double items but also got the occasional rare one.

I think the OP is right. The only 3 I've unlocked are Krogan Soldier, Quarian Engineer and Drell Vanguard. I've seen Asari Adept, Salarian Infiltrator and Turian Sentinel. All the classes are represented there... and it Is just a demo. Makes sense to me.
