Hi All,

I am hoping someone will be able to help me out with a problem I am having.

I am currently trying to wrap up a playthrough of ME2 (in anticipation of ME3 ). I have completed the Suicide Mission and am now playing through Arrival.

I have saved just before freeing Dr. Kenson from the interogation room. From this point on if I try to save or load my XBox will crash and the save will be corrupted.

The only option I have then is to use Modio to "recover" my save by deleting the Autosave file.

Has anyone experienced similar and is there a fix? I have already carried out the License Transfer process and re-downloaded all my DLC content. However, this seems to have done nothing to help me solve my problem.

I have done a search of the forums but cannot find anyone have the same issue nor a fix. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

I would hate for my save to become irrepairably corrupted leaving me unable to import into ME3....

I do remember someone mentioning the corrupt autosave problem, and aside from what you are doing I don't recall there being a solution. Generally on a console once a file is corrupt that's pretty much it. In DAO there was a possibility that surrounding files are corrupted as well.

I'd suggest checking the mod threads on the character creation boards for advice as they would know more about Modio and its uses than I would here.

I took your advice and posted over in the other forum but still no remedies...

I hope this is recoverable as at the moment I am tearing my hair out over it.

There might not be, hence my original reply about not remembering a solution being mentioned. The thought is that someone there has more expertise with such things (I know nothing about Modio so can't offer more). But usually corrupted saves are things that are written off, so prepare for the worst case scenario.

Sometimes you have to be patient for people to reply given that these are peer support forums (where applicable). The ME2 tech boards have been rather dead of late to say the least, so even less chance of someone being able to help.

Great stuff. Just one point I thought worth mentioning: ME2 does use a copyright system, so under normal circumstances the save cannot be copied. As you suggest in the guide this may have led to the corruption. Minor, but worth pointing out.
