The graphics aren't bad for a console port.

It does kinda resemble a Rockstar port.

Rockstar ports are actually decent looking, they're just POORLY AS *** optimized.

I'm having GTA IV in mind.

Since i don't wanna start a ''Oh our platform is so better then your platform/platforms'' ect ect, ill just say this.

For anyone in here saying the demo dosent look great, i disagree with ya. Sure ME3 demo dosent look amazingly incredible like games such as Crysis 2/BF3 ect ect, but when tbh has A multiplatform game (thats not X Platform exclusive) looked stunning?, very rarely if you ask me.

Then again it's a demo, and its an old code from the game. the final game graphics will be more noticeable if you put everything to max details.

Um, both Crysis 2 and BF3 are multiplatform.

If you are playing the Mass Effect series because you want good graphical quality, then I think you missed out on one of the greatest storylines and the most in depth character development titles in gaming history.

If you are going to hate Mass Effect because it doesn't look as nice as you want go back to Skyrim. I personally would still play it if it was developed by Atari.

You completely missed the point, and Skyrim looks awful without mods.

I can live with bad clothing textures.

I was able to do so in ME1 and 2. People who are complaining must be the PC players.

I am a Nintendo fan though, and only owned a Wii for half this generation's cycle...

Better than ME1, worse than ME2.

I think they're pretty good, especially with AA and at high res. But then there are some occasional up close textures that are bad.

So you admit ME3 has poor graphical quality?

Anyone who takes an attitude like that just has no idea what they have. I do agree though, I did miss the point, because I didnt read through page after page of complaints about something that no one complaining can change. It's a game, and there are countless others out there. If someone is going to complain about a game then why is said person playing that game?

Skyrim's landscape is beautiful.

The characters look like pieces of cardboard with adhesive paints ironed on.

The quality is about the same as ME2, which was good.

I admit it isn't what I wanted after playing older games that could compete with or were better than ME3, but I'm also not playing it because it looks nice.

It seems that, whilst the models became more realistic, everything else went back to ME1's drab, slightly desaturated look. Skin especially. Everyone looks like a walking corpse especially Anderson.

Or did I imagine this?

I think they look amazing. But then graphics don't really feature on my list of what makes a game great.

Skyrim would have been great if its characters had any kind of depth, It had any kind of a good story, it didn't lag to ****, Wasn't chalked full of glitches, repetative combat....

wait that is about everything....

I guess I can't expect much from Bethesda...great concepts with poor execution.

They are decent for 2009 graphics, but look dated now. I thought Skyrim's PC textures were a little underwhelming, but these are far worse, even though they should be far better. Skyrim has to render far more at once, and as an open world game is far more intensive, but Unreal Engine games are supposed to be well optimized, but look good, too.

Hopefully we get an HD pack, though I doubt it, sadly. Worst part is the knowledge that they have the high-rez source textures.

The graphics isn't what bothers me. They're pretty much the same as in ME2, perhaps a bit shinier. It's the animations that ****** the hell out of me. It's like watching a puppet show. Literally. I was excited to see Kaidan after such a long time but when I actually saw him, he looked kinda....deadish. Shepard also keeps doing this strange hurr durr thing with her eyebrows.

If it wasn't for the subpar textures I think the game would look really good.

God, I know, right?  I think they added an extra fold of skin or something above the eyelids - and they *constantly* clip. :pinched:

The graphics are gorgeous (with the exception of some low-rez textures)

The animations are what's making the game look bad.

Yeah, the animations are subpar for a Bioware game. The reason the cutscenes worked so well in ME1 and 2 was due to the fantastic animations. Some of these are worse than Oblivion animations.
