when you go up on the last ladder of the 2 demo mission (single player) , then before that you have an obstacle, that you have to jump over. While you're going up the ladder, you can see your squad mates (Liara & Garrus) waiting before the "obstacle" for a 3-4 seconds(in a line and definently noticeable) and then moving forward to jump. it can ruin the mood for some, just saying.

I don't really pay attention to squadmates when I'm trying to go up a ladder or playing in general. Only nitpickers actually watch the AI to see how they interact with the world with anything but a cursory glance.
