1. Playing Icewind Dale in winter, with hot cocoa all warm and cozy inside, killing bugs and goblins in the early areas of the game. The icy setting, the art, music, and style of the game was amazing and all fit together perfect. One of my very first games.
2. Morrowind, going through the character creation and first entering Seyda Neen and then making the trek towards Balmora(complete with an elf mage falling from the sky on the way), some of the most beautiful and exotic places I've been in any game.
3. Defeating Firkraag in BG2 after staying up late playing, and I wake up my brother at like 4 AM in the morning to tell him because I'm so excited, but my dad hears me and I get scolded and sent to bed.
4. Thief 3, going through the Shalebridge Cradle level. You know what I'm talking about if you've played it.
5. Tomb Raider 2, another one of my very early games, and the first true 3D game IIRC. I still remember running around the Venice levels, lining up difficult jumps, shooting thugs with my pistols, collecting dragon statues.
6. Morrowind(again), my first time entering a sixth house base and encountering an ascended sleeper and immediately running out after getting blinded and poisoned, and sucking down a health and antidote after getting out the door, and not going back inside!
7. Playing World of Warcraft, just hanging out in the middle of nowhere with some in game friends. My Rogue friend wants to test using shadowstep to avoid falling damage using shadowstep, and I use Mirror Images to make him drop target when he's getting close to the ground so he falls to his death. He repeats, and I use invisibility to drop his target...laughed a bit in real life.
8. Playing Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher's Bay, after buying it kind of on a whim not expecting, to be pleasantly surprised how awesome it was with it's very dark and gritty setting and great stealth/action gameplay.
9. Playing GTA: Vice City Stories and just cruising around the surprisingly large open world(especially for a handheld game) listening to the great in game radio stations, which I downloaded many songs from later. The DJs also had some great humor.
10. Playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2(I think it was 2... there were a lot of them) and creating my own crazy levels and skating on them. I loved that in game level creator.
Great/Nostalgic gaming experiences

I really liked Baldur's Gate I and II. I thought Sarevok to be the best villain in the world. And killing the Beholder in BG2 with that unbelivably old temple, that was something.
Yeah, there's much more, but these are the ones I can remember right now.
And hell, I enjoyed playing Mass Effect. Especially the Citadel and Noveria part, I still can't get the picture and the music out of my head. Made me warm inside. And hell, talking to Vigil about the fate of the Protheans with that music reminding me that the Protheans gave their all to secure a better life for the younger generations. That made me think there's gotta be something more than just our world.
I have some nice memories stored, thanks to Bioware.

1/ Playing GTA: San Andreas, 2 player with my friend with attacking civi's with weapons turned on = MAJOR FUN, best gaming experience ever
2/ Playing Star Wars battlefront with the same buddy was always fun... Actually any 2 player game would mean great gaming moments.

Halo, 16 players, Rocket Launchers, Hang 'Em High.
In high school, I was the president of Video Game Club, and we had SO much fun with that map/weapon set. I still remember those times when I'm on that map (In the rare occasion I can get someone to play the first Halo with me)

Crikey you're all so young! My nostalgic gaming experiences centre around ZX spectrums and Commodore 64s... When Tomb Raider, Occarina of Time and Baldur's Gate came out I was working as an assistant manager in a game shop selling them (and playing them at home, mind...)
From that era I remember playing Half Life and feeling truly immersed in a cinematic experience for the first time in a game. The opening where you travel through Black Mesa on your way to work was something really different.

- The first time an ex-friend and I finished Contra III on hard. We had never played that well before. For some reason we were on *fire* that night and went through all the levels flawlessly. I still remember the final scene with a chopper lifting out soldiers out of an exploding alien stronghold while the final phase of the last boss was climbing the tunnel to get at us. We were screaming like crazy all the way up to the ending. >.
- Any other multiplayer games one of my close friends and I used to play together. From challenging each other in PS1 Ridge Racer with a two TV, two console set-up, to Descent, Doom, any number of racing games and beat 'em ups...
There are way too many to count. We played the hell out of any worthwhile co-op game and had such excellent teamwork. It was like we could read other's minds. Good times.
- Fighting one of the Five in Throne of Bhaal. I remember the fight with Yaga Shura in particular. That was one of the most epic badass moments in any RPG I've ever played. It was then I realized my character was like a force of nature.
- Any number of memorable role-playing experiences playing Neverwinter Nights online.
- Late night Diablo sessions with friends
- The first time I went through the Fortress of Regrets in Planescape: Torment and met the Nameless One's past incarnations. It was interesting conversing with the two I learned something about during the game. Learning the truth from Ravel and confronting Trias in Curst were also highlights.
- Fighting the werewolf in Bloodlines. That battle was epic the first time I cleared it.
- The scene where Link frees the Master Sword in A Link to the Past.
There are many, many others. I just wrote what sprang to mind.

1.) Playing Thief the Dark Project in a completely dark room at 2 am, especially the mission ''return to the cathedral'' and ''the lost city''. Epic atmosphere, silently stalking in the shadows in a sealed off haunted part of the city past extremely dangerous foes like ghosts.....man that was the most thrilling game ever made. The apparitions and haunts were very thrilling enemies....
2.) Enjoying the extremely hard exhausting fights of Baldur's Gate II & TOB, as example fighting the Lich & Demi-Lich in a massive spell battle. Still remember the spells like ''protection from magic weapons'', ''finger of death'' and ''flesh to stone'' or ''Spell chain''. Some of these battles took me half an hour until my enemy finally hit the floor, it was so hard to kill wizards with all their ridiculously powerful protection magic. Imagine that, magic without the need of mana, just blast out the spells. So much fun.
3.) Playing Gran Turismo 4 (racing simulation), 24 hours of le mans! Yes, 24 hours non-stop without driver change or anything, just me, my racing car and my cockpit + wheel and pedals for 24 hours.
On each lap on the main straight hitting 240 mp/h / 390-400kmh (Yes, cars back then really reached speeds around 240 mph) and slip streaming other cars. And finally winning the event by a small margin winning a new car!

1.) The first time in Hyrule field in Zelda: OoT. Also the very beginning of the SNES Zelda where Zelda is asking you for help and it's raining. I recently played it again and I just walked around Hyrule in the rain, putting up with the constant telepathic messages, all for nostalgia.
2.) Entering Baldur's Gate in Baldur's Gate. I was young, and I had FINALLY been able to get into the city, I remember being astouned at how massive it was.
3.) The Dock's District in BG2...I dunno why, but it brings back so many memories. The thieves guild quests, the harper HQ, the vampire meeting, Xzar, Jaheira getting captured etc etc...
4.) Leaving Pallet Town in Pokemon Red.
5.) Beating Ganonodorf in Zelda:OoT.
6.) The first mission in Splinter Cell. Man I love that game.
