Game starts okay, get 30 FPS until I press "escape" and the actual menu screens start to load.  Then, 0.5 FPS.  No GPU utilization.  I'm waaaaaaaay above the specs, I just installed newest Nvidia Beta Drivers, restarted, have Origin set to offline mode and overlay is disabled.  Basically, I've tried everything that people have said might fix some issues with the game.  Tried on Fullscreen and Windowed.  Tried disabling a few features.

Basically, the game isn't recognizing my graphics cards (but I do, in fact, get the EVGA overlay that lists stuff like GPU %/temp/FPS, hence why I know it's not doing a damn thing).  I run 2x 570 GTX, i7 CPU OC'd to 4.9 GHz, etc.  Everything in this computer should blow this title to pieces, yet the game isn't even attempting to utilize any of it - thus, no FPS, and can't play.

This is absolutely ****ing retarded.  Every other game I have works fine.  WoW, Diablo 3 beta, etc.

Okay, apparently EVGA Precision was the culprit. So overlays, any kind, are ****ing the game up hardcore. For anyone out there having similar issues, kill any and all overlay/background programs that might interfere or parse with the game.

I have a very similar system. Win7 x64, i7-950 and 2x GTX570s. I also run EVGA Precision v2.1.2. I am running the Demo without issues so far.

You do not state what version of Windows you are running.
By the latest nVidia driver I ASSUME you mean the 295.51 version.

Is Windows up to date? Have you installed all the new Windows Updates from Tuesday?
Have you run the DirectX updater? You can download this from:
http://www.microsoft...tion.aspx?id=35
DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer
What is your sound card? Is the driver up to date?

Even the Origin built in overlay causes issues for some people, but others have no issues at all it seems.

Very hit or miss problem, but I'm glad you solved it and can enjoy the demo at least.
