Gears Effect 3?

Huh...
I just feel like they've made too much of a shift from strategizing with your team to frantic shoot 'em up. Even in the story mode it still feels like a generic TPS title now.
And the grenades. AI and grenades don't mix very well as they have a tendency to forget they have guns and just throw grenades like they're from the Socom 2 School of Military Combat.
Just my thoughts.

Edit
I've read the leaked script, the game is as long as if not longer then ME2. Depending on how fast one can play, and this wasn't even a complete script. So don't worry about it too much.

Other than that, a lot of omission have to do with it being a demo...hope that it is so.

Yeah OP, its just a 'demo,' as I am sure the final game will be fine. I am sure. I hope! dear lord, lets pray......
Don't bother praying. Your sig sums it up quite nicely.

It seems there is always a thread about how non-RPG ME3's demo is, where the OP usually does not know of the cut-out content that's the demo, and everyone else just jumps on the hate bandwagon and votes the thread 5 stars...
If content was cut out and held back intentionally from the playable segments then it's not a representation of the final product and thus not a demo.
Oh, and people were saying the exact same thing when the Dragon Age 2 demo was released and guess what. Content had not been held back.

Honestly that is a fact. It's just now trying to dechiper what the demo is and what the final release will turn into. It doesn't make it anymore comfortable to know that the release is less than a month either.BiO_MaN wrote...

Considering. I will wait longer to give myself an idea of what the final product will look like.neubourn wrote...

Honestly i hate the new cover system. the first two game cover system was great. this one looks to gears.
IT'S THE SAME COVER SYSTEM, THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS YOU CAN ROLL AND SLIDE FROM COVER TO COVER.
God, it's like ME3's combat being more like Gears is meant to be a bad thing.

Really? You're going to wait until you've played the actual game before you judge it? You sure you're not better off just cancelling based solely on the demo? I mean, you're at risk of displaying common sense!

Cover system is very GOW that's the fact but definitely need some refinement here - choices from "cover-to-cover" and "out-of-cover-and-move-out" isn't that sensitive.

That combat system is pretty much standard. Just because something similar is used in GOW it doesn't mean it can't be used in ME3. Sometimes it's just stupid to reinvent the wheel.
And the rest: demo is demo is demo. Lots of stuff is missing to keep its size as low as possible. And even now you still have to D/L full 2 gigs. CGI movies are still quite hefty.

Gears is more responsive so when comparing the two yes it is a bad thing.
gears has always been better than this poor excuse of a game . if you want to play dialogue choice all day then there are some games like that . but in 2012 Bioware better have either on par or at Gears 's level of combat because they will not eb able to get by on passable sh*t as combat goes
