Not to kick a dead horse or anything, but can someone put my fears to rest?

The Omnibutton. It's clunky, but I can live with it. what really scares me is how Derpy the combat/Cover system is.

-The heavy melee doesn't lock on, so missing is very possible and screws you over.
-During parts of the demo, Shepard would move in cover in his own will, and takes forever to pop in and out of cover, which gets people killed
-When sprinting into cover, sometimes Shepp doesn't stick into cover, and just stands out derping it up, or grabs the side or the wrong side of cover, which leaves my **** hanging out for anything to kill.
-Doing cover maneuvers, like hopping over cover, doing the "L" where when you're in cover and then sprint out forward, I'll be holding down the A button and it'll take Shep 3 seconds to do it, which doesn't help when I need split second cover moves to save my life...It's extremely clunky, and I don't get how it could have downgraded from ME2.

I need comfrot in this dark time

BW does have some hotties working for them, I just hope it is not Chris who shows up to "comfort you".

Have you played co-op yet.? I must admit, the combat felt a bit strange, and... unresponsive, kinda, when I played the campaign demo. However, after playing a LOT of co-op, I went and did the single player again a couple of times, transferring how I played in co-op to single player... and wow.

With the way your character uses the environment, it's not unresponsive, it's perhaps TOO responsive. Eventually, it'll be second nature as to the angle you manipulate the control stick to take cover in a certain position. Use the demo as much as possible, then you'll know exactly how to treat the full release for max enjoyment.

Hopefully this will give you some comfort. Go play multiplayer... the single player combat will make a whole lotta sense after you do.

I havent played Co-Op yet, I can't get in until the 17th. : /

But to me, It's very unresponsive, but maybe my playstyle of speed-storming cover and constantly moving around inside of cover doesn't convert as well...

And it is annoying when shep runs for cover, or runs out of cover, and it's unresponsive and slow, which gets me shot up on my insanity playthrough.

They were better than ME1's, that's for sure, and after 11 ME2 playthrough, their system is second nature to me.
:P
