There may be conflicting versions that aren't cross-compatible with all games using PhysX. For instance, the PhysX in the ME-3 Demo may cause ME-2 to fail to run. (Edit: in at least some cases where this has happened, a reboot has been required to clear something out that happened during the ME-3 Demo's install.)
Whether anything similar will apply in the cases of DA:O and DA2 remains to be heard about.

I'm not sure which was included with the demo, but the version above works fine with all DA/ME games for me at least, and the demo doesn't seem to have installed any version here (unless its the same). But yeah, I understand that its probably wise to wait until more configurations are tested before updating the Q&A.
