I was just a little curious what combos people are finding so far. There are three that I have experimented with besides the oldschool warp detonation.

First I ran through with an infliltrator to test tech bursts. I maxed incinerate and took cryo ammo to try and test this out. There was definitely a burst, blowing up the target. Also, anyone nearby would take alot of damage and seemed to have a chance to freeze. So, kind of cool. I could see chaining this with lower cooldowns and doing massive damage.

I also tried some experimenting with overload/sabotage on an engineer. I was definitely getting some kind of burst. I would start with sabotage and wait for the stun, then have Garrus use overload. The target and anyone around them would usually die.

One time a centurion was near the original burst target; it knocked out his shields, took about a quarter of his health and knocked him on the floor. So I think there is some kind of knockdown/stun when the burst spreads.
I'm still working out exactly how sabotage and overload work but there was definitely some big AoE. I was doing this on insanity and basically killed everyone using this method, barely firing a shot.

Haven't tried it yet but I bet I would get the same results with disruptor ammo and overload or sabotage.

I've seen on other threads people talking about throw detonations. So I gave that one a shot also, good fun. These combos really open up all kinds of possibilities and play-styles. Can't wait for the real game. Feel free to pipe up with your experiences.

I think cryo and a sticky gernade cause a cryo burst.

Incenerate and Warp also combo. Hell, Warp combos with anything that has a lingering effect on the target. (Funny when using Incinedary ammo)

I wonder if warp would combo with reave? could possibly be the most epic biotic combo in the game =]

they should both apply over time effects, unless one has been changed, but even if Reave has changed to straight damage Reave should still combo off of Warp, unless it is like the only biotic power that cant cause a combo.

anything paired with Stasis is perhaps one of the best combos imaginable because the explosion applies stasis to everything it hits. So drop a stasis bubble stasis up 2-3 guys then combo explode one and kill a bunch of people plus apply stasis to ones that you don't kill

I am in absolute shock that nobody mentioned singularity + warp/throw.

i think thats because its an obvious one since singularity was one of the most common things to combo off of in ME 2

Still the best.....if you manage your weight you can literally go through the game without firing a shot.

Stasis bubble and throw/warp work pretty much the same as singularity and throw/warp and are just as viable for never having to use your gun. I think stasis actually even pairs better than singularity since its evolutions work much better for combos than singularity's evolutions seem to.

Warp + shockwave is nice for dealing with shielded enemies. The resulting combo takes down shields and some health and staggers them hard. Also works great against Phantoms. Take the increased distance perk for shockwave, though. The default range sucks.

There's something called a "Cryo Explosion" that I get sometimes but I can't reproduce it very well.

Cryo Blast + Incinerate combo causes Cryo explosions. This will freeze any remaining enemy that were near the victim that exploded. Basically, it acts like an AoE Cryo blast. I've been using the combo with my Quarian Engineer (since she can set it up by herself) and it is pretty darn awesome. It does a ton of damage, provides great crowd control, plus you get an extra CC effect when enemies shatter. Definitelly my new favourite combo in the game.

I just tried this today you use stasis bubble and biotic charge, the asari vanguard in Co-op has it and that thing destroys in single player with nova after it all.

That's because they have to die for it to happen. Hit something with Cryo Blast and kill it with a damage power.

Same deal with fire explosions.

All other combos in the game however work even if the target doesn't die.
