Hello everyone I have a couple of questions and I really would love them answered please but keep in mind some questions I ask may not be able to be answered until we get the full game and play it so thank you for reading the following questions I have are.

1. I don't have a mass effect 2 save I was wondering will it have a huge impact on number 3 if I transfer it over or can I just play mass effect 3 without a save game from number 2 and still enjoy it?

2. I was wondering for example if I romanced mirranda on number 2 and continued that save onto number 3 will I still be with mirranda or can I get with Ashley cause when I saw her in the demo I was like wow she doesn't look horrible anymore she is stunning.

I may edit this to add more questions if I think of any but I wont get to annoying I prommise :P thank you guys if you can help or give me any more information maybe a webpage then feel free to let me know thank you cause I want to play through Mass Effect 2 again using someone elses mass effect 1 save if it will have a huge impact on number 3.

I think there will be an interactive comic that lets you summarize the first two games if you didn't play them.

Mass Effect is a trilogy. If you are playing on the PC or XBOX 360 you should start with ME. you would not skip A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back and go straight to Jedi would you? If you are a PS3 user, then you still should play ME2. The final chapter is not a good place to start the story, despite what EA's marketing team believes.

As far as romances, all romances carry over so if you rOman d Miranda in ME2 she will be your LI in ME3. I do believe you can start a new LI in ME3, but again play the older games and take the time to setup the story the way you want.

1. Is entirely up to you. The experience will be richer if you import, but a new game will allow you to make a few choices about what happened in the earlier story. I'm sure it will still be enjoyable.

2. You can probably do this.

Also, check out this site:

MassEffect2Saves

You can download a save that has the choices you want, and use that for your import into ME3. This is probably your best choice if you don't want to go any play through all of ME2 before ME3 is released.

BSN can be that way.

1. Some choices will be made for you. You will kinda be playing biowares shepard instead of your own

2. I think Ashley is a romance option and even if you romanced miranda I am pretty sure you can still do it with ashley (No punish thing intended) but IIRC there can/will be issues between two romance options. Fights can occure I hear.

Someone else probably has more detail than I provided so don't go off what I say for sure

ME 2 let you cheat on your ME 1 romances so I assume ME 3 would let you cheat again.  Personaly that isn't something I do but the option will probably be there.

But cheating might have consequences, that's the part I like, I've deliberatly created one play through with Miranda as LI, can't wait to see the consequences when Shepard cheats on her with Ashley.

BSN has people from around the world, many who learned English as their second language. In the OP's case, English is his third language. I'm sure you can't speak three languages perfectly either.....

Not sure which platform you're playing on but the experience can be much more custom feeling if you import saves. ME1 and 2 are incredibly cheap these days (like $5 on Steam on sale).

Hello yeah I don't have the time really working 60 hours a week but I am taking a WHOLE 2 weeks off for this game so I am excited but if they find out the reason it was because of a computer game lets just not think what will happen :P but I may just use other peoples save files I think the only problem is you can't name your own character or can you?

The beauty of the Mass Effect franchise, at least in my opinion, is that the universe feels like it's "yours." I settled a dispute between a woman and her brother in law in Mass Effect 1, and I heard them talking in Mass Effect 2. I Punch out that snotty reporter in the first game and she says, "...you punched me..." in the second. I spared Rana Thanoptis in the first; she was scared of me in the second. I helped Samesh get his wife's body back in the first game-and, voila!-he emails me. I romanced Ash in the first and she sent me an email apologizing after she yelled at me on Horizon.

Anyway, I would always recommend importing if you can but Chris Priestly, one of the BioWare people here, suggested not doing that for your first playthrough, so take that as you will.

You Sir, are my hero. My hdd crashed and with it all my ME1 & ME2 data. I don't have time to replay them before ME3 release. That link should come in handy.
