First and foremost having completed the demo can I just say it is unbelievable. An absolutely astonishing effort so well done developers. The following topic is designed however to give some feedback and some constructive criticisms of what I have seen so far. Some the devs will be able to fix others perhaps not.

1: No hotkeys for the weapons; I am playing on the PC I have so many keys available and yet I cant hotkey the weapons?

2: The opening sequence is just amazing it reminds me of the incredible set pieces from the uncharted series with all hell breaking loose in the background.

3: The salarian component for me was a huge disconnect. I was supposedly much more powerful (being later in the game) yet I was so much weaker. In the opening phase as a vanguard I absolutely tore everything to pieces charging god only knows how often (didnt use cover once in the opening sequence) melee punching and fake novaing (heavy melee while sprinting). Charge had like a 2sec cd and it was the best fun ive had in any ME series yet. Then I arrive at the salarian base suddenly charge has like a 20 sec cd. It felt like my vanguard had been shot in the foot (same applies for all the other classes). You go from being able to chain abilities to having to sit in cover waiting so long for powers to cooldown. Im aware this has to do with the extra guns you are carrying but I havnt been able to work out any way to drop guns (wouldve been happy with just a shottie tbh).

Additionally while the set piece in the opening was amazing the salarian one wasnt (but they cant all be i guess) I just hope that the intensity of the opening scene is maintained more often than not in future combat arenas.

4: For a demonstration it was a little weird that the infiltrator didnt get a sniper rifle

5: Some more instruction as to how certain abilities work would be nice. E.g. nova seems to be castable when powers are in cd. Im assuming nova is based on barrier strength in terms of its cd as well as its power

6: I absolutely love sheps agility. Im one of those people that like challenging myself to not use cover so charging heavy punching rolling away sprinting etc is absolutely awesome. Dodging bullets while rolling to an enemy to melee him before charging someone else was heaven

7: Im not sure if this is a bug but apart from charge powers dont seem to home anymore. This pretty much destroys pull/throw/singularity/incinerate/cryo blast and the list goes on. Ive seen my spell home in like once more often than not it fires straight ahead. I never had any issues in ME2 so this doesnt appear to be my fault. Its worth looking into.

8: Your grasp of cinema has jumped massively the death of that kid was incredibly well done and that music was amazing a truly heartbreaking and incredible scene.

9: Wrex's line to Liara is way out of character, there is a thread on this but it is really glaring. However this scene is in the middle of the game so things may have happened to provoke this change.

10: Ive played all the classes now so ill try and talk about them now;
Vanguard: The most intense and rewarding experience the game has to offer. At the end of the opening scene where the Vanguard isnt hamstrung by the cooldowns that occur later he shines so much. A visceral and effective combatant and tonnes of fun. No criticisms here except that there never seems a need to use his powers. With a shared cooldown system you just pick charge every time there is no need to use anything else (except nova as it doesnt seem to share a cd) Charge pretty much kills whoever you hit (damages and puts you at a lethal weapon range) AND saves your life with a barrier (which on harder difficulties i nova away to give me some breathing room). This was an issue in ME2 as well. On insanity I never used pull and shockwaved once in the whole game (husks at the end of the derelict reaper)

Adept: Similar to ME2 but the powers dont seem to arc which is a problem. I like the heavy melee but cooldowns are an issue in salarian arena. Again not much incentive to use anything other than singularity (although i didnt get a chance to try his grenades)

Sentinel: The strongest class in ME2 by far could essentially walk (not run) in the open on insanity and clear out an area as you could instantly restore shields. In ME3 tech armo seems bugged. If you activate it when its on it detonates it and you have no tech armor but it goes in cd. This proved quite costly fr me the first tme it happened lol. The only class whose havy melee I founnd diappoinnting. He is biotic and tech yt he went 2 omniblades. I was hoping for a tech stab and a biotic throw away, or a biotic lift and a stab. Speaking of lift i loved the lift grenades

Infiltrator: Stealth greatly improved thanks to stealth kills. It would be good if while stealthed and you went behind someone you'd get a similarly visceral stealth kill but its not a big deal. THe heavy melee  you do while stealhed does huge damage anyway just wouldve liked some sort of animation. Also no sniper rifle for him in the demo was weird

Soldier: Everyone loves this class but  never have principally due to no weapon hotkeys on he PC. I would love to snipe one break out of cover and lay suppressing fire with an assault rifle as approach then whip out a shottie for the finish all without using the menu but I cant :(. Anyway typical shooter experience but now that the other classes  can equip I wonder if this will remain the case

Engineer: The only class I died with and felt like it was completely my fault i.e. pulled off what I wanted to do but it got me killed. The sentry gun was awful (was it even shooting) but the combat drone was awesome. Of all the classses he seems to get raped the most but tbh engineers arent my playstyle so maybe its just me.

11: Roleplaying: Not a lot to say here as we didnt see much

The VAs have done a great job as expected and Mark Meer has done exceptionally well. The forums typically favor Hale and she is excellent but Mark has done great work from the limited amount I see here. The great thing about 2 Sheps is the VAs will inerpret the lines differently and deliver them accordingly and its great to see. Both VAs are great.  The others are also great. Keith David was brilliant especially when he said he wasnt coming with Shep.

I really like that the protagonists move in conversations (a ME2 innovation) and it really adds to the experience.

So thats about it. In summation a fantastic game by all appearaances. The PC version could use weapon hotkeys (F1-4 for weapons maybe) Some clarification on how some abilities work like nova with regard to its availability. Seeking biotic and tech powers doesnt seem to be working or very rarely (only seek in about 10% of cases). The ability to drop weapons would be greatly appreciated if it means I can be a demon on the battlefield (seriously it was THAT good). At least tell me how I can get my cooldowns close to what I had in the opening. These are things you can address

Things you cant; an abundance of set pieces. The salarian area was pretty vanilla expecially when contrasted with the opening (reapers attacking ships and causing utter chaos along with an environment that was collapsing around you). A disappointing sentinal melee.

Hopefully the devs find this feedback useful because I loved what I saw

Also what effect does the final psychological thing do besides picking ash or kaiden

Slight update: turns out the tech armor thing is by design so scratch that criticism.

I honestly couldn't tell... I picked the "loads of casulties" option to see if Wrex/Mordin would be changed but it didn't do squat for me in that respect as they still appeared.

To be fair though I've only gone through the demo twice so someone else should know more than me!

Good to see all your positive feedback, and i agree with it all! :D

I guess most people just need to try and look away from the obvious bugs and look-out for some of the benefits present in this demo. I've even been a little chatty about the bugs myself, and i myself need to start thinking a little more positively.

I still have high hopes for this game, and am yet to loose those hopes. It's just a little difficult to not be concerned in any way when you get the overwhelming feeling that all the bad stuff may be staying in the final product.

People tend to weigh negatives higher which is great for feedback. Its just if we dont highlight what is great too they may disregard it in future games. So yeh there are some issues and areas that can be improved but there are some awesome additions that I hope the devs realise we all (?) like

Opinions are like ****s, everyone has one. But I think that negative criticism is not necessarily a bad thing. Yeah of course most people tend to highlight those things that they did not like and tend to forget to mention those features they love, but still, no matter how many great things this demo demonstrated (and it had it's moments of glory) it's full of bugs and irritating issues that got to be and can be solved by patching the game after release. Script issues are different, ti's up to personal taste: for instance, some might love the prologue while others might hate the way it is and it's delivered. I myself think that it's not the best of prologues I could imagine for the game, but it's not that bad either. If the prologue in the final game is like this, I think I can live with it, if certain plotlines are made clear later in the game, e.g. why Anderson is admiral again and not councilor if I chose him in ME1, or the introduction of James Vega etc. etc.. What is a bit more concerning is the way the dialouge\\c&c system is present (or rather abscent) in the demo. It is way too dumbed down and pretty much meaningless (paragon and renegade options solely, and no matter which one you choose the reaction you get is the same). I hope it is just a demo thingy and that the game will be nothing like it. I don't want to highlight other problems, bugs, technical issues here, cause I did it several times in other topics. I still like and enjoy the demo regarless, but I want Bioware to pay attention to some of the major issues because I don't think that anybody wants to spend money on something that does not live up to it's predecessors at least quality wise.
