I mean with the packages. You spend 20000 credits on the Veteran package and pretty much get shafted with the total randomness. I have of yet been able to even unlock another species and I would really love to roll as a Krogan already.
Not a fan of the random drops

IMO it is ridiculous that all I was able to get were more humans. I love play as my human soldier, but damn I would love to play as a Drell, Asari, or Krogan.clopin wrote...

I like it, I doubted the veteran pack and then I had 80k and got 2 veteran packs and both had a new character , quarian and turian

It is luck, and yes...thats why some of us like it. It has that Magic/Pokemon card pack feel to it...most of the stuff is meh, but when you actually DO get something you want, its a very staisfying feeling.

It hasn't dropped an Asari for me yet, so I hate it.
I did get a Salarian Infiltrator and Quarian Engineer, but even those took hours of playing and purchasing vet packs.

aye it is totally false i haven't gotten anything from the veteran just some good upgrades, but race wise nope my starter gave me the Turin sentinel i getting more upgrades from the recuriter pakcs i now have 2 totally classes fully dressed in colors, but really no races from either

THIS. I haven't gotten anything I want but when I do it'll feel amazing.
I love the collect em all mentality. It's distinctly RPGish too.

i dont mind the random unlock. what i dont like is when i see that ive unlocked 1, its 1 i already have... that to me is crap.
in all the veteran packs ive gotten ive unlocked 1 alternate the rest i already had

I really like the random packs, but it seems like they get stuck on certain categories. In 4 veteran packs I got 3 different species. I have upgraded my sniper rifle a ton of times but I haven't gotten anything for my assault rifle. I have a bunch of pistol amps but no ammo or power equipment. I have gotten a ton of missiles but only one medigel. Once you get something it seems like you're a lot more likely to get it something similar to it. The random drops need to be more random.

I really wanted Vanguard packs, to customise my appearence more, and new Shotguns. What do i get? Constant sniper rifle upgrades, and a revenant.

Simple fix to make the drops more fun: Prevent dupes.
Apart from that I can live with the system. It hasn't been much fun yet as I unlocked _nothing_ I could actually use but that might change once I get my lovely Widow and some AR enhancements.
