I have been trying everything, re-downloading both Demo and Origin, updated drivers, changed directories, sacrificed goats, but nothing happens. Every time the installation is done, (I assume, no installation screen pops up or anything) the same bloody " Ready to Install" pops up, again and again.
As i was finaly loosing my marbles i found the InstallLog and here is what seems to be the problem:
10:20:15 Installing C:\\Program Files\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 3 Demo\\GDFBinary_en_US.dll ...
10:20:15 Alternate GDF game name Mass Effect 3 Demo
10:20:15 IGameExplorer for Vista
10:20:15 ERROR: Windows IGameExplorer is unable to AddGame (80004005)
10:20:15 ERROR: Attempt to retrieve GDF GUID failed (80004005)
10:20:16 GameExplorerInstall returns 80004005
10:20:16 ERROR: Failed to install 'C:\\Program Files\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 3 Demo\\GDFBinary_en_US.dll' for install path 'C:\\Program Files\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 3 Demo\\'
10:20:16 Failed to install GDF
10:20:16 Installer finished with exit code: 3
10:20:16 Shutting down data reader.

Now, i have no idea what to do, the GDFBinary_en_US.dll file is in the directory.
Anyone know what to do?

Hi,
Sorry to hear you are having problems.
Can you confirm if you are attempting to install on an administrator account with no parental controls turned on?
Thanks

I've been asked to request that you try installing to a different directory than the default to see if that makes any difference.
Can you please let me know if it does?

You mean install origins in a different directory?
If you go to the Gear Icon in Origin and select "Settings" there is a section in the "General" tab called "Downloaded Games", can you try and change this location? (To C:\\Games or similar, the new location is not important)
