Hi all

How many of you wanted to skip a dialog, then, by error, choosed an unwanted option ?

The problem is simple : space does skip a dialog but also confirm a dialog option where the mouse stand !
Please : either deactivate space as a dialog chooser or give us the ability to remap skip and select to different keys !

Yeah, the mighty spacebar has many ways to doom you, be it combat or dialogue.

Thank the Maker that people have been smarter than you, or we would still be living in caves, hunting deer or whatever.

OT: This feature sucks, can be easily fixed, so, BW, please do so. Make ENTER or ESC the skipping key instead of SPACE.

The escape key seems to work with a lot of the cinamatics, but not all, and not with the dialogue... it helps accelerate the intro... a bit.

But this is certainly a feature I would like.

I've made this statement in regards to the 360 several times, where X is skip AND select. Many times have I cursed in frustration that my shep has said something totally out of character.

Yes, it's quite annoying that this problem still persists.

Don´t even wanna think about how many times I´ve had to reload a save because the wrong option got picked after I skipped a dialog... Same with the sprint/ cover key. Died a lot on insanity, trying to run past a wall, but the toon takes cover on the wrong side, just because I was a tiny bit to close to the edge of the wall ^_^
Just separate the keys for PC version of the game.  I´d love that

I know Bioware devs are watching this board so I'd like to know how our chances actually are that this will be changed / fixed with a patch. Same question goes for Xbox Controller support on PC. I just do not want to create another thread just for this addition.

Come on Bioware, make it happen. Especially when I'm not in the mood to listen to a character I just read the subtitle and then skip. Then suddenly a dialogue option comes up and I select it by accident... FUUUUUUUUU

If they properly map functions to multiple keys, the story will be crap. Just ask the devs.

Seriously this issue has been brought up since ME1, they've had 4+ years to fix it and yet they haven't. I'm no game dev so I guess I'm not qualified to comment on how difficult this may or may not be, but seriously? SERIOUSLY? Is it really that difficult? The issue still persists for the 360 as well. What kills me is that it was fixed for Dragon Age II (I know, different team), so what the hell BW?

They might be different teams but they are literally in the same goddamned building, it's not like they don't interact with each other.

Just feels weird playing a PC game with so many functions mapped to just a few keys.
