The worst of ME3 is a deluge of bad ideas and fan pandering.
Nope, the plot's all-time-low belongs to ME2: Shepard dies, and comes back to life. And most of ME3's lows are just a side-effect of this terrible bridge.
Cerberus's crowning achievement, but not remotely possible by any stretch of science. At least the lore supports TIM's fate, and brings them back down to Earth too after their uncharacteristic ME2 success.

The plot of ME2 was not particularly groundbreaking, it was the endearing characters that made it come to life. Half of those are gone as squad members, and most of the ones that didn't make the squad seem to have had their voice actor's changed.

I'm pretty sure Wrex has the same voice. And just because they changed one VA is no reason to believe they changed others.lorderezar wrote...

I can't say for sure, but Wrex and certainly Kirrahe (which is a minor character, granted) didn't sound very similar at all to me. It's an assumption on my part, but if they wouldn't get Beattie back for Mordin, or even explain why, I don't know why they'd get the other original VA's. If Wrex was the same, then I apologize, but he sounded very different to me.

And if ME2 had the all time low plot, do you think ME3 will be better? Mac Walters is still the lead writer, after all. I'm not criticizing him, just pointing out a fact. The characters were what I loved about ME2, not the overall story, which I felt kind of unraveled at the end. I have no idea what that last boss was even supposed to be or how it made sense.

I read the script and the answer is yes. There's the usual stupid stuff to be expected. Still, nothing stupider than Shepard dying and coming back. Also, character arcs are much improved. ME2 was quantity over quality. In ME3 they got it, they're doing more (much more, than ME2) with less.
And no, Wrex and Kirrahe are still voiced by their VAs. They're just a bit rusty, if you will, after Wrex's role was greatly reduced and Kirrahe was non-existant while his VA voiced a different salarian in the game (Ish).

This is so true. We get a lot more and better interactions this time around; no more ****ing "calibrations".Hah Yes Reapers wrote...

Fair enough, looked it up on imdb, Wrex has the same actor. Criticism withdrawn, he sounded different because he was yelling more, Wrex never did much yelling before.

As long as Tali has a good arc and lots of interaction. Yes, I'm one of those

True, I notice a lot of little Dragon Age avatars hating on the game. Just cause that weak series was ruined doesn't mean this good one will be.sumoaltus wrote...
To me it seems like all the hate is stemming from the Dragon Age fans who are still sore about the other half of Bioware that, in my opinion, makes poop baby games.
Basically they're taking all their rage on a game that will be phenomenal. And no, I haven't played the full game yet, but as a loyal Mass Effect fan, I don't need to. I know they put their hearts and souls into this ever expanding world. Three years of development opposed to less than one definitely shows me that this title will be nothing like Dragon Age. Which in my opinion, is a very weak title with a lackluster story, terrible graphics, sub-par voice acting, and a mediocre score.

GTFO in what way was Dragon Age Origins weak? I'll give you a hint IT WASN'T! In fact I'd argue that DAO alone is better than the entire ME series. Stick that up your pipe and smoke it.
