This sums it well. The majority of BSN are a pack of angry coxcombs frustrated they're "ignored". They seem to have attention issues most likely extending from childhood.

Uh-oh they're trying pop psychology now

Because Dragon Age 2 was terrible and people are extrapolating a pattern from one data point. Also the leaked script was pretty unimpressive.

I never saw the leaked script (and don't want to), so what made it unimpressive?
Just that most scripts are totally different on screen, for movies and games. What looks ridiculous on paper may turn out to be impressive on screen, because of the way it is handled - in terms of the acting, shots, sounds and everything else that contributes to a successful product.
I saw the scripts for a series called Misfits and, while they looked incredibly cliche, the series turned out to be a hit.

So was the general story just disappointing?

Oh? I was unaware it was March 6th already. Either way weather you can or can't is not a huge deal.

You are obviously also unaware it was comfirmed by a developer, I personally don't have an issue with holstering, my beef is walking around during quiet moments arms outstretched carrying a weighted weapon, I'd happy if they just let the weapon arm fall to the side during quiet moments.

It also comes down to how much believe in the phrase.

"It's a demo, everything will be fine when the full game comes out"

I don't put too much stock in this. There may be some bug fixes and some other small changes, but I'm not buying into everything magically improving to a high level for the final version.

LIES AND SLANDER. I am now going to complain with a wall of text rant about what you just said. ;)

Wait, your gun is not going to be out in hub areas, non combat areas is it?

There isn't much hate for ME3 in the real world. It's mostly just on this forum, which is the most miserable group of complainers I've ever seen. It's why most of us who joined before ME2 are long gone.

^ this...

The BSN is a echo chamber  its easy to think that everyone hates ME 3 if this is the only one comes to read opinions about ME 3

This sums it well. The majority of BSN are a pack of angry coxcombs frustrated they're "ignored". They seem to have attention issues most likely extending from childhood.

I don't know if it's that so much as the BSN just seems to exist in a bubble. When you spend all day on the ME3 forums reading ridiculous page long rants by people like Terror_K or being exposed to the general amount of text-based violence in things like the FFTL thread, it's practically human nature to also start having negative feelings yourself. And then it just spirals downward from there.

In short:

I first joined the BSN in Jan. 2010 until I forgot my password for my account. Back then the only annoying thing was Talimancers. I am glad they have gone extinct. Anyway, this place has turned into the Bungie.net forums. COMPLAIN about THIS. COMPLAIN about THAT.

I don't know why this is so hard for some people to swallow: the demo sucks, particularly the first half.

I don't really have faith in Bioware anymore but I still have faith in Mass Effect. Come to think of it, I don't have faith in any developers, just good games. So haters gon hate but Mass Effect will continue to please me. Whatever, I play what I want.

Not to mention Bioware social is just this right now:

The galaxy is at war. There's no such thing as a "non-combat area".

Marines in Afghanistan may be on a base or otherwise in some place where their immediate mission is not to shoot something, but they still ALL carry their rifles around or at least have them somewhere they can get to them at a moment's notice.

You're not allowed a different opinion, because thinking negatively about any aspect of a BW ip means your opinions become invalid.

The demo parts of ME3 that everyone is whining about didn't seem all that different from ME1 or 2 to me...

Although your are slightly innacurate because there are peaceful hub areas, those Marines in Afghanistab don't walk around with their arms outstretched carrying a weapon constantly.

You also forget the,

"If you didn't like the game/demo why do you still come here, don't post here anymore"

I guess you lose your posting privileges if you have concerns/complaints about a game.  All the feedback must be positive.

Just like my enjoyment of the demo makes me a Biodrone to those who disagree.

Because there is a huge difference between having  conscerns, complaints, cristism... etc about the game... and the nonsense that goes on here.

This is much the same as during the DA2 development. The flames were burning out of control and the biodrones were trying to smother them...defending that pile of poo.

Aside from that, I have two other problems; I was concerned to see how often auto-dialogue was used throughout the demo. Sure it existed in the previous games, but it really felt as though there were times during the demo that Shepard starting spouting out his/her own opinions without my input. The other issue was the trial being cut from the game. I felt like this would have been a good opportunity for Shepard to justify what he/she's done in ME2 and how he/she feels about it.

I wouldn't say I hate the game; just that I'm concerned about some aspects of it.

I certainly share concern about auto-dialogue. I've heard they cut dialogue choices from demo but there was just so much auto dialogue there and most of it was Shephard opinion. All i can say is choice needs to be present all throughout intro, otherwise Shep coems across as a pre-defined entity, not the character we've shaped over 2 games.

were you guys playing action mode? I didn't notice any auto dialogue when i played (rpg mode?) Granted it was usually only a choice of 2 dialogue options but i got to choose.

Yet not once do you appear to consider it's not nonsense to them.
