It seems their recent failure is an excuse to cut them some slack, forgetting the quality of games these guys used to create.

The CoD and the rest of the "new audience" is thrilled with the outcome of the last games, and this demo too, I guess so this is enough for Bioware

Everyone's that satisfied with the level Bioware is, in these 2 last years, should know that they're actually hurting them, and pointing at you, older fans, you should be ashamed of yourselves for being content with this.

Just being honest and saying what every old and faithful (and disapointed) fan of Bioware's thinks.

Cancel Preordered.

Just wait for the full game bro. I admit the demo has instilled certain reservations in me, but the full game could blow you away.

Just wait and see. Come back raging if the game ****s up badly.

OP is wrong. BioWare are making better interactive cinematic emotionally engaging narratives than ever. If you can't handle the new and innovative features and design, then I suggest that your expectations are misaligned.

I don't hate bioware, but I'm severely dissapointed on how far the company has dropped. How low their production value has gotten. If the game is really as unpolished as it is, they should have pushed it back another six months.

I don't hate Mass Effect 3, I still plan on playing the game multiple times but as a fan who has been undoubtly faithful to bioware, I do get to complain about the direction the company is taking.

And I hate CoD with a burning passion, it's the same game rehashed every year with different guns and different maps.

Ya I get what your trying to say and honestly the last great game they put out was DA:O, but I'm still going to get this for 2 reasons:
1- I already played the other 2 games
2- If it sucks then this plus DA2 will have killed all hope I have in bioware thus freeing up a ton of time/money that I wont waste on future games from them.

Then it seems you won't be pleased no matter what BioWare does. In which case - why complain? You'll never be happy.

Obviously he has nothing better to do.

I don't either, ever since they took my train set away.

Geez, I've been pretty pessimistic since I read the script but even I'm waiting for the full game to come out before jumping off the deep end.

I was actually NOT happy when DA2 came out.

Keep in mind that DA2 and ME3 are being made from 2 different developer teams, so this kind of "quality" we've beein experriencing  cries out loud about how the problem is deeper in the roots.

Now I'm pretty cool with all this situation. I've been expecting this outcome.

Quit trying to formulate an opinion on the final product, fool. And also, you should be misguidedly telling everyone here not to buy the game, despite them also having the demo and able to gauge themselves if they'll like it or not.

You know what ... RPG's, the gaming community will be so much better off when the Elitist and Special Snow flakes just vanish.

Yes individuality must be erased, only then can everyone be fully intergrated into to the collective.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

If by "cinmetic", "new" and "innovative" you mean "backwards, copying the wrost of Hollywood" then I agree.
This new "cinematic experience" can go die in a fire for all I care.

Look, OP, I agree. I do. Still gonna play the game though, since I think the mistakes Bioware's gonna make in this title are going to be interesting to learn from and I wanna be there for it to watch it happen.

But the truth of the matter is the following: if you look at how the Star Wars prequels are an atrocious pile of dung compared to the old trilogy, the majority of SW fans still do not seem to care. If you've seen the Redlettermedia 90 minute video reviews of each prequel movie, outlining why George Lucas does not understand why Star Wars is good and how many faults there are from a narrative perspective, then you know that they're speaking the truth. They're a balanced, well informed and most importantly professionally supported take on Lucas's filmmaking. But try posting those links on theforce.net. You get the same sort of response there as you get to Bioware criticism here. The fact of the matter is that no matter how shabby a story, no matter how poorly written the dialogue, if a fan truly wants to like it he will find a reason to do so. You cannot beat human perseverance.

Maybe deep down the majority of people on this forum do know that the ME3 demo showcased some of the worst writing in games seen in the last few years, but as long as they can find some contrived explanation for why X or Y happened (like the kid being shepard's imagination or the reaper deciding to blow up the shuttles or that cringe inducing dialogue about the plan) they will be happy in their delusion.

I remember when I first finished ME1. I tried so hard to get past the massive plot hole formed by the Conduit because I really, really, really wanted to like the game. I did like the game in the end, only because I decided to simply accept that the Conduit was the result of contrived writing and spared no further thought on it. Most people here are doing the exact same thing. They just want to like this game, and will tell themselves whatever they must.

You musn't judge the final product based on the demo which is supposed to represent the final product! You musn't!
