If ME3 really is supposed to be the end of Mass Effect, then HELL YEAH because it means the end of my reluctant business relationship with EA.

Just look at how DA2 and that ****ty ME game on the iPhone turned out.

There is no Bioware anymore. And without ME, EA would be on the path to bankruptcy. Have you seen the junk they've been churning out over the past year? I mean THEIR OWN GAMES, not the ruined sequels of previously successful titles (think Command and Conquer and Sims).

Huge failure? Where the hell did you come to that conclusion? It sold more copies than any other MMO so far (with the exception of WoW ofc) and also has more subscribers than any other mmo than WoW, if that's your definition of a failure then I really want to know waht your definition of a success is.

No, a game's sucess is made by the reviews, sales and awards. Whiny people over the internet don't decide what's a fail or not.

So it isnt just the game thats missed a few years of education ?

I wrote this game off after the DA debacle.
was obvious back then they were pandering to the slopers,so i dont feel betrayed this time round,i didnt preorder or sit waiting with great expectations.

But coming to the forum where the worst brown noser sheep live was daft of the OP

First BW game I ever played? BG. Love for current ME3 demo? Maximum capacity.

To be fair, Jade Empire was a great game but financial flop. KotOR was award winning even though the story and gameplay was meh. But it was Star Wars so it got hyped even after release. If you played KotOR2 you could easily see how much better the original game could have been. Well except the ending. We all know KotOR2's ending was cut off due to Lucas Arts forcing deadline.

Then came DA:O which probably been the best Bioware game ever. Then ME2 which is basically a polished Mass Effect and a close second to DA:O. Then DA2 which was ... meh. So really Bioware history is up and down. And they never really made something that was outstanding aside from DA:O. Because Baldur's gate was an AD&D label and KotOR was Star Wars. The only thing they did was not ruin it, which means success if you have the name already.

ME though is an own IP and kudos for that. Imo they are not doing worse than Bethesda. You could as well argue that they also dumbed down their games ever since Morrowind. But they were recieved well, no? People don't appreciate good RPGs anymore. That's why RPG companies either go more into action market or ... they go bankrupt.
