Nope. Plus DA2 never failed. It got an 79% metacritic on Xbox and 82% metacritic on PC and PS3, so all those whiny people saying it's a fail are just overreacting.

Also all the previews of the demo have been postive, only these so called "loyal" fans are saying it sucked.

Metacritic? LOL, like that means something. DA2 was a garbage in terms of a hardcore RPG. But if you want to bring up Metacritic as an example, the user rating is around 4-5 by the way.

Hardcore? Lol, you RPG elitist just love these type of words. "Hardcore". What's next you gonna tell me ME3 fails as an "hardcore" RPG. I never knew you could make RPG genres from thin air.

And, yes, metacritic means something because it has reviews from "professional" reviewers. Yes I'll repeat "professional" reviews not random people from the internet.

Because they're different franchises and I have different expectations and desires for both of them, I'm not a "defender" of anything but my own opinion.

I agree... I mean, when that child said "everyone's dying" and "you can't help me", wow, tears ran down my cheeks.

Then when the child was killed on the shuttle, wow, it really played with my emotions. I never knew the reapers could be so evil. It's like a real fight for survival now, man, woman and child.

And when Ashley/kaiden says "welcome aboard, commander" and shep just says "thanks"

Holy cow, it deserves a goddamn pulitzer award. Just beautiful.

ME3 signifies the end of an era of primitive, neanderthal writing and paves the way for a new type of glorious intellectualism.

The writing is so amazing it's like watching a Transformers film!

What it looks like to me is that we certainly have some people who want to turn this into DA2. Hence all of the negative posts that we see on BSN. The trolls were emboldened by the fact that it got so bad with DA2 that BioWare made two general forums for the game.

However, this time it appears that the trolling is full of fail, given the pro-ME3 reaction that just about everyone of these threads gets.

I might actually accept, because Bioware seems to encourage homolust so vehemently.

Everyone here is biosexual.

are you demeaning the bio-groupies  again ?

shame on you, they spend hours out in all weather just to touch thier hems, bio groupies need a lot of things...like love, cheeto`s and jenny craig ...forgive them, dont berate them :P

its bio`s forum,so fans like the game, trolls dont, thats just the way kids minds work.

The demo....a let down? *Rolls eyes* The only thing I'll say is that the intro level is rushed. I mean no trial or anything missed opportunity there, but everything else I saw in the demo I enjoyed.

your opinions seemed rather radical in the debate about choice , as if it was not an issue in DA2. So the game changes, and it becomes an issue ?  Why in DA2 it was fine ? Or did you really think your choices mattered in this game ? :?

Professional reviewers? Are they a special kind of people? Or are they like any other gamer? I assume they are the latter. They have an opinion about a game like any other guy/girl. The only difference is that they can write pretty articles about it. Oh wait, and they shouldn't tear down overhyped games because the publisher have their balls.

It was an issue for me in DA2, just so-happened that none of it was mentioned or leaked prior to release.

The only ones trolling are people like you.

As for the DA2 comparison? Nothing can be as bad as DA2. Nothing! Theres some bit's I wasn't happy about in the ME3 demo but they are mainly technical issues, which mean they are fixable rather than game breaking. I think the general reception will be luke warm but I dont see the hate of DA2 more just disappointment.

Context. The only games that had a lower score in metacritic are Sonic Chronicles and (inexplicably) Jade Empire.  The rest of Bioware games rank in 88+. According to the critic, DA 2 is below average quality for a Bioware title.

I think I'm not the only one, who sees a quite disturbing pattern with the ME3 demo?
Let's turn back time a bit.

Dragon Age 2 demo released
Demo is an abomination
Lot's of criticism
Biodrones appear and defend DA2, main reason: this is just a demo, the final version will be better.
Dragon Age 2 released
Huge disappointment, worst game of Bioware so far.

What happenes now:

Mass Effect 3 demo released
Demo is a abomination letdown
Lot's of criticism
Biodrones appear and defend ME3, main reason: this is just a demo, the final version will be better.
Mass Effect 3 released next month.
...... If the pattern continues, the game will be ****.

Bioware really should pull itself together.

Inb4 mods lock this topic.

I want you to take a step back, think hard on how stupid this comparison is, and request that this thread be locked. Trust me, we'll all be better off for it.

nothing can be as bad as DA2, the fact that we can import our shepard and the ending changes because of said import is already leagues ahead of DA2 where you play through 9 years to come to the same conclusion every single play through regardless of wtf you did prior

That doesn't occur in ME3.

That's called an opinion. Seriously, some people thought it was bad. Some people, like me didn't. Seriously, some people think that their opinion are special.

The demo of ME3 appeared to be quite like ME2. I've read other folks comment it looked like ME2.5 as well.
That makes me a bit skeptic of ME3 doom and gloom commentary made by folks who haven't got an ME2 copy tagged to their BSN profile.

If anything I am a bit confused by Dave of Canada's negative outlook; especially since he apparently bought DA2 despite his misgivings on it's demo.
-Do you really believe that pastebin leak was complete enough to warrant your dismal outlook on ME3?
