So the answer is no. Sure people may not like the gameplay changes and whatnot, but if you're crossing your fingers for the repeat of DA2, you should wait for another 1-year+ rushed game, ME3 ain't gonna be the one

I don't remember it quite like this  -- I remember that they showed a demo somewhere sometime with a trial in it, but I don't remember a trial being promised or advertised. Am I remembering right?

They showed the triall to the gaming press, and explained the situation to them concerning how the story pans off of ME2, this was also shown at E3.

This was then backed up by Chris Priestly saying that "The trial is in the game, it's how you start".

Only recently is Chris saying that the trials been removed, as well as the rest of the dev team.

Probably because not everyone has arrival. And if you dont have Arrival you'd be like "WTF am I on trial for?"

Does the trail REALLY matter that much... like the Reapers really give a damn about the Batarians being pissed at the Humans..

I don't know if I would compare the two demos (ME3 & DA2). I absolutely HATED the DA2 demo....so much so, in fact, that I was originally planning on getting the game and changed my mind after playing the demo. I just really didn't like it.

ME3, on the other hand, I love. The demo has only made me want the game that much more. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.
