No there will not be any pvp. It's a galactic war where we should stand united against the Reapers.

If they can come up with fantastic balance, game design, it's not a completely impossible thing.
Basically biggest exploitable market is pvp mp shooter market.

PvP would be terrible for this game. Imagine the joy of getting instagibbed repeatedly by Vanguards, head-shotted by Infiltrators or charged and one-shot by Krogan melee etc. It would cause an eruption of forum posts screaming for X class to be nerfed.
If this were a game of only guns, that would be another story, but the powers players have access to would just make things silly.

In ME2, biotic powers didn't even stagger the foes if his shield or armor are not completely wiped.
Which made combat pretty boring, tacticless chore
In ME3, this has changed, biotic powers can stagger enemies, even though his armor shield is not wiped out, and enemies effectively dodge biotic powers which all I think is good work by game design team.
Things can change to better....so if they can come up with even more fatastic balance, power usage, it's not completely impossible.
Just EA / bioware has to hire better personnel for this.

NO,... Co-OP is cool RPGS are built for it but unless you make the RPG with mindset of it being PVP along the lines of Guild Wars... Then it will be a disaster.
To many ways to play with the stats and powers never balance out in PVP...

I'm for PvP if I could play both sides (ie. cerberus, husks and the like). No Atlas mech or Reapers obviously.

What? .. Because it's your birthday you think asking BioWare "please" will make something as redundant as PvP will happen in the ME series?
LOL'd.

Well they could make it kind of like Beast in GoW3, just make the opposing team try to stop them for 10 waves as each thing. I mean they would still have bad health (i.e. getting 1 punched by a Krogan) but they wouldn't be able to choose to have out 9 Atlases at the same time, there'd be an amount per wave, and an amount allowed out at once per wave, so in the end the amount of different enemies would feel normal. There could be 4 players on the opposing team, and the enemies they aren't playing as are controlled by the game, as to make more than 4 enemies at once.
In all it would still feel normal I think. The only problem I could see would be boosting, but this could be alleviated by making private matches of this game mode not get xp or creds.

I forsee stasis and overload fest, maybe sniper fest too since you can cloak.
Conclusion: pvp is not a good idea

Well, to solve problems with people spamming throw, singularity, pull, etc. and getting on people's nerves, there could be settings on each match that supported different interests, examples:
Free For All (Anyone)
No Secrets (No Infiltrators)
Secrecy (All Infiltrators)
Airborne (Adepts, Sentinels, Vanguards)
Earthborn (No physics-based characters)
Etc, etc.
