I'm pretty sure the game was developed on the 360 and both the PS3 and PC versions are ports of that. It's not uncommon for PS3 ports of 360 games to have frame rate issues.
It was indeed originally supposed to be xbox exclusive. so the whole buy a pc thing is stupid. Also it's uncommon enough for people to complain, I have only ever had it happen with Skyrim before this demo to be honest with you. Maybe I have just been lucky?

OP is complaining when the PS3 may be the reason the ability to holster weapons was removed?
No pity.
Why would PS3 be the reason for that?

memory issues, its a fairly well known fact that the memory in the PS3 isn't as good as the memory in the 360 (incase you dont know link, and one specificly talking about Rage and the PS3 link) and becuase of this issue (both a hardware and software decision on Sony's end) then a lot of games (like Skyrim) suffer badly from it.
the two most important things in any computer are the cache memory and the RAM as those affect EVERYthing you do (HDD size/type are of less consequence after a program is running).

Please don't do that. It makes PC gamers look bad (elitist) and is not better than the occasional "just pick up a ME3 copy and xbox from your local store, no biggy herp derp".

I don't have 700-1500 to spend just so i can make ME3 look 20% prettier, thanks.
If you're paying 1500 for a gaming PC, you're being ripped off. Learn to build your own and you can make one for 500-800 long as you don't get top of the line hardware.

Same reason skyrim's PS3 version was crap. The memory is divided differently than an xbox.

Still don't understand why that would mean taking the holster weapons away...it worked fine for ME2....

There clearly is a difference. It is disappointing how PS3 players keep getting shafted like this.
Yep I agree, at least they have told us they are aware of it, hopefully the full game won't be like the demo

They said it's to do with too many animations because of the new combat system or something like that. which is bs because you would only need one animation for shepard holstering the gun, and you can only holster when standing still or light joggingxHezz90 wrote...

It's a minor annoyance from a role-play perspective, certainly, but the amount of sh*t people allow to slide down their legs because of something as trivial as this is beyond outlandish.
This is just complaining for the sake of complaining. I refuse to believe that there's anyone who's disturbed enough to actually feel that this is a legitimate issue.

Personally it doesn't bother me I was seriously just curious as to why the PS3 would be the reason, and anyone else think Developers constantly underestimate the PS3?

The argument isn't about not getting a holster animation. The argument is that the holster animation was removed for memory issues to free up memory space. This shouldn't have an effect on the PC version where there is 8 gigs of ram to use. The fact that it does proves that this is a console to PC port when they specifically said earlier that the PC was going to be developed on its own.
Nobody cares about something minor like holserting. What we care about is that our games are being dumbed down to console levels. And this isn't just a bioware thing this is a trend in the gaming industry and it is pissing off us PC users, The trolling from console fans really doesn't help things either.

That's the main reason why I'm getting a decent laptop soon. I'm not going to get the other two on it since the PS3 has the comic but I just wanna hard-core it up. To actually fully experience the game besides watching it on YouTube...xHezz90 wrote...
