the lag worsens when somebody joined the game in the middle of the fight. And why when the leader left, there will be a host migration and force everyone else in the room leave? Is the multiplayer P2P (peer to peer connection)? Isn't it supposed to be dedicated servers?

My impression on this game:
Multiplayer is fun. But does it meet the expectation? Nope, I don't think so. I expect tonnes of bugs in full release, laggy multiplayer, frame rate issues, ps3 freezing/ crashing, texture popups issue, etc. Don't jump in the hype train like most of us did for Battlefield 3.
And this is an EA game, expect lots of DLC coming in future and I'm not going to spend my money on this greedy company.

Yeah, the MP was actually what I most enjoyed about the demo. I don't have the best Internet signal and it still played really smoothly.

Like Calibrationmaster stated though, the SP... quite a different story.

It's peer to peer. I have no clue as to why you would expect dedicated servers. Every online game has lag from time to time, it's unavoidable really because it is usually caused by outside factors.

I agree. I had such fun that I couldn't stop and now that's all I want to do is go home and play multiplayer.

at first I had some lag issues but after I changing a few settings in my router I was able to get pretty decent connection to everyone I played with and I have a less than 1mbps DSL

I had 10+ games on the demo, experienced no noticeable lag.

Sigh....the wonders of P2P. Lets just hope all the matchmaking problems are fixed in the retail version.

The PS3 games that me and shenmue92 have been playing had no noticeable lag that I could see..... I've had far more issues with the Xbox MP than the PS3.

I've only experienced lag on one battle on the demo. if your using WiFi just reset your wireless router or it could be the host that's the problem.
