I'm just going to leave my opinion of the gameplay in this part, no dialogue or writing or graphics or whatever. Whilst most of it seems similar or equivalent to ME2, and that's just fine, there is a few issues I was not happy about in the gameplay:

-The controls were, in my opinion, not thought out properly. The 'A' button does way too much than it should be doing and at some points where it is not being involved but should. Take for example in the middle of combat, you use it to roll, sprint, take cover, go over cover, go around cover into sprint, etc etc etc. This is my main concern as sometimes the control thinks I want to roll around instead of being in cover, often leading to an annoying death. The issue of being not used where it could be more beneficial is on things like ladders and such; instead of having to run into a wall and wait for Shepard to climb up the ladder it would be much quicker and faster just to press A when you're next to it. It took me around 5-7 seconds for Shepard to realise a ladder was in front of him so it did feel a bit awkward and silly, where as a simple press of the A button would do that immediately.

- Sprinting was also a bit annoying. For one, there is very little sense of weight to Shepard anymore and now has the ability to sprint extremely fast despite being clad in armor, carrying around 3-5 guns (including a heavy weapon, emphasis on the heavy) I thought ME2's sprint function worked just fine, no need to really change it that much. This also becomes an issue because it is very hard to turn directions when sprinting. I'm not asking for Shepard to do a 90 degree turn on command, just the ability to turn a little when sprinting, running in a straight line is a bit annoying at this point.

- Heavy melee is, in my opinion, a wee bit innacurate and useless. Sure it looks pretty and all but I found myself barely using it compared to regular melee, not sure if anyone else had this problem but it's hit box is pretty damn small and even though I'm literally breathing in the face of that Cerberus Assault Trooper I'm missing him by like 5 inches of his face. Maybe a slight lock on when I'm stood right in front of him will work? I mean regular melee seems to do that so why not heavy melee? It also seems to leave you vulnerable for way longer than it should, I mean yes I know there is an emphasis again on the 'heavy' but waiting for Shepard to get back to his comfortable standing position was getting ridiculous at times.

Again all of this is an opinion so agree or don't, be critical over it or just ignore it I'm not bothered either way. Seen enough stupidity from the haters and the biodrones already.

Totaly agree about the A button. There are other buttons on the controler BW.

Just another quick criticism- The whole "bloodstain" effect on screen when shields go down gets pretty damn ridiculous as well. It becomes very difficult at times to see enemies because the entire screen except a small chunk in the middle has gone dark red. I'm all for indicating the danger of dying but this is going a tad bit far bioware.
