I really think that you should keep the exp and money you've earned up until the point when you lose connection to ea servers.

anyone else agree?

Why?
It'll be reset for the full game anyway.

I guess, although it's not too hard to get more credit

That would require allowing people to keep XP and Creds if they quit as well.

Yes, that would be good. Sometimes you just get disconnected. Sometimes something happens IRL and you just have to leave. And it's frustrating having played during several waves and then losing everything. If the devs could change it for the final version, at least with a patch or something, this would be great.

Sure, I don't see a problem with that. Sometimes you just have to leave the game. Another person can get in anyway. If you were not replaceable, then this would be a problem. Sometimes I want to start a game, but I know I have to leave in 30 minutes or so. Then I just dont get in, because it's about the time it takes for a full match on silver or gold. I'd like to be able to get in, play one or two waves, then get out, leaving room for another one and keeping the creds and xp I got while I was there.

I agree, because I have been in a few matches where I was just about to extract and I get disconnected from the EA servers or I have to leave the game because of something happening IRL, losing all my credits and experience points. It's a bit annoying especially since I don't have much time to play sometimes and just want to run through a mission quickly with a bunch of friends to get some extra credits to help get more Veteran Packs.

I dont see a Problem with this either.....you should be able to keep the XP and Credits, it also sucks when the game bugs for me when trying to use cover and it sends me flying into the air or shoot be underground and enemies cant kill me and all my team is down..I have to exit the game and lose all my money and XP just so I can be nice enough and give it to my fellow team....only happen twice to me out of like the hundred matches (Rough Estimate could be around 50 Actually) BTW.

Yeah I hated this in Dead Space 2 already where I would often lose connection and then lose all my earned XP. I find this similarly annoying here. I guess it is for the reason of keeping griefers and leavers at bay, but mostly it's just annoying. You should keep what you earn.

I think you should at least keep the XP earned from your Kills.

Well I dont get my connection from a walmart in Antartica, so I dont randomly get dropped from games.

No. You shouldn't be able to keep your XP and credits due to an disconnect. Seeing there is not a way to tell a true disconnect from a quitter, all this would do is say that it is okay to just play half of a match and leave without a penalty.

Are there sometimes things come up or your connection is dropped? Yes and is it annoying but, then some people will just quit to be jerks.

I don't mind it. You shouldn't get the rewards unless you finish the match...one way or another...

It happened to me once when my brother rebooted the router on me without asking, I didn't really mind. Means I had 15 minutes of fun gameplay instead of 20 minutes and some xp/credits.

If it is happening to you a lot though I can see how it can be more of an issue

Personally, I disagree.

I've played alot of betas and am use to the fact there stats and xp doesn't/shouldn't carry over. Players who play in the Beta shouldn't have a head start when the full game comes out. I don't feel upset that xp wont transfer over because were going to have many more maps and enemy types when the full game comes out.

That is not the issue, the issue is XP being lost if you are disconnected from the servers from any reason.

I don't think you should keep it either, because people may rage quit or be griefers. Just the "nature of the beast" in terms of online gaming unfortunately

It's not about transfer the xp and creds from the demo to the final version, it's about keeping your xp and creds when you get disconnected or when you have to leave for some real life issue.

And, as much as I would like to answer to some people here, I'll stay (almost) quiet.
I'll just say that not everyone has the whole day to play, some of us have work, family, and other issues that sometimes give us just a few minutes to spare. And those few minutes should worth something.

I agree with the OP, which reminds me of a game I had yesterday:

Two guys and I--me being the noob of the group, sorry guys!--were on final wave and the team was scattered for some reason (they are usually more coordinated). In any case, I found myself leading the charge (I think we had to disarm a device or rearm one, I forgot which). The only hurdle was this Atlas standing right next to the objective. If I could take it down (it was down to armor already), the rest of the team--being more experienced than I--should have no problem mopping up the rest. Right during my light brigade charge, I lost connection with the server. Hopefully the rest of the team beat that wave and the mission. I wish I could have got that XP though...

Agree. It's a coop anyway, I don't care what amount of XP the other guy will get.

The sad thing is that we will loose all our demo progress when the real game arrive =D

Chill out, it's a known problem on EA's end.

We should be able to keep rewards earnt up until disconnection. I can understand wanting to penalize quitters, but this is a co-op game - rage-quitting shouldn't really be an issue here. Tempermental servers and connections are an issue for a lot of people and result in a lot of unnessary frustration - minimizing the impact of this by allowing progress to be kept should be a priority.

Yea if this was a PVP type multiplayer game....(which would be very unbalanced IMO) I understand trying to punish Quitters but its a coop you have nothing to fear from a guy being a higher level then you...
