Do the objectives (hacking, defusing etc..) on Silver and Gold diffivulties. You get much more Credits than Bronze.

Bronze = 12-15k for a level
Silver 15-20

Umm, I'm guessing English is not your native language? And by "pick" do you mean "get"?
If your question is "How do I get enough credits for the Veteran kit?" The answer is, you save your money. Play on bronze difficulty so you can get through all 11 waves (10 waves plus extraction). It'll help if you get a team that understands team work and not a bunch of Cowboys that all run off on their own.
Bunker down in a defensible position unless you are going to objectives. When you get an objective move as a team. Except for the high value target objectives, they'll almost always come to you. Firebase White's best position to hold is up the ramp from the spawn point near the ladder and ammo dump. Firebase Ghost's best position depends on your style of play. You just need to explore the map. At low levels I had the easiest time surviving all 11 waves on the Firebase White map.
