The diificulty a lot tougher than it should be, especially for quick match. Very unbalanced and therefore barely appealing. Dear BW, you should have learned from the Battlefield developing team more than just new cool sounds.

Or you could simpy get better and use your head after the first tough silver match and think ... hey i need to go down to bronze first to level up. Theres nothing unbalanced about it and this is just a demo/beta. This is a very polished experience for a company that barely scratches the surface with console multiplayer.

Bronze is easy, but man gold... with my STILL lvl 1 avenger AR (Level 18 Sentinel Turian >_<) is pretty crazy.

Bronze is to warm up, and the levels dont say much, got a l1 soldier with me today who went all way through silver without dieing and to extraction with me, 2 l10 i had died every other second basically

This is as much about skills as about how you develop your class, love that very damn ****ing alot (insert more swears here to show how much bioware proved my oppinion wrong)

Any other sentinels here? i feel quite alone with my prefered class

I would love to play Sentinel, but I'm waiting for the Turian to unlock.  Is the human Sentinel any good?  I haven't tried throw yet so I've been skeptical.

Only class I've really played is Sentinel.

So what are the benefits of Silver over Bronze. Do you get considerably more XP and Credits?

I love the current difficulty. I've beaten bronze loads of times, but I can still lose a match if I'm careless. That's how it should be.

Not sure about the XP, but you get around twice as many Credits for Silver as opposed to Bronze.

Cheers bud. They are a little hard to come by. On Bronze you get 15K odd for finishing a round, but that feels a little low for 20 minutes of gameplay.

Or you could simply take your piece of advice and shove it up your ***. And don't f**** tell me how to enjoy a multiplayer game. This one is unbalanced and as a lot as ME can offer as a singleplayer, as equally little it offers as a multiplayer.

Seriously @drinking sheaprd?

Tell where it is imbalanced?
The Nemsis that can 2 shot you? Your screen glares bright red signaling you to do a sidestep/make a headshot quick
The Phatoms that can melee instant kill you? Your fault for letting them close
The Atlas? Well theres a rocket launcher.....
The Turrets? Yes a single turret just made me fail a mission, as a sole survivior of 4 peeps that managed to die on the start of the wave, i had to avoid it AND kill enemys while trying to get to the objective. Btw i didnt mind draggin these lowbs with me, i was a lowbie too (well for one match, then got 5 levels on my sentinel, ya know with extraction from a bronze match)
Or is your problems with the guardians? Take a sniper with you or put a scope on one of your weapons and you get bonus points

Dont say this game is imbalanced and give no oppinion on why, and tell it needs nerfed, go back wherever you cry usually for not getting the win handed on a plate

To be fair, bronze could be just a tad easier. Even with 4 OK players, it's possible to fail it if you're not really careful.

Now I'm not saying to make it really easy (since as ShadedPhoenix wrote, there's a tactic for every enemy) but maybe a tad easier would have been nice. Just a tad. ;)

@ ShadedPhoenix: strange to hear that from you who plays battlefield 3, which is awesome and offers nearly all kinds and levels of a really good multiplayer game. Battlefield is also full of stuff that can kill you instantly. It's about how the meal called "mass effect 3 multiplayer" is served. It's bad, poorly balanced and frankly, hardly interesting itself.

By saying it's unbalanced I mean that you can enjoy battlefield 3 on any level, alone or with a squad of friends. Here, you can't. The difficulty is unbalanced. It doesn't gradually introduce you to the game and its features, it knocks you off your feet, suddenly and roughly.

Is it a multiplayer? Yes. Is it a good one? No.

I also play black ops, space marine, rage, dow2, avp2010 and a couple sp games like dx:hr and civ5

I find this sometimes on bronze actually blatantly easy, where as in battlefield i get far more pissed at a useless team, especially those that let themself spawnraped, even after i just broke the enemy lines, waded through a ****ton fire and took a flag singlehandely.

You still havent pointed out a single "balance problem" tho i cant say much, i only play this for a rather short time so far, only annoyance are the random packages, but thats just because i dont like "luck" in my games

I guess for people like you there should be a mode that states "training" or "someone hold my hand i am scared" only get you 5 waves against weaker and less enemys maybe, netting a whole lot less xp and credits

ps: ex-quake-progamer, most games nowadays are easy

*smalledit*
The only real imbalance i can see btw is my temper thet lets me rush right into the enemy firing line whenever i thirst for their blood  (a krogan is lost on me:D)

I completed gold with 4 players the other day. It got us around 55k+. It got so intense in the last couple of waves but we all stuck together and kept reviving each other. It so much more fun when you have team mates that actually know what they're doing and aren't all soldier or vanguard classes lol.
Anyone want to play hit me up on 360 - GT: pauseREWIND133

Got to wave nine on gold with teammates and I in our mid teens. Starting to think it won't be too difficult once everyone is maxed out on levels. Hopefully the added enemy types will bring more difficulty in the full version.

@drinking Shepard

Using bf3 as a comparison is a joke. Totally easy mode with tons of crutches. One of the easiest games I've ever played, coming from a level 52 colonel.

It can be very easy and very difficult, depends on the mode, server and team. Battlefield isn't perfect but it offers a damn lot.  With ME they don't seem to have tried to follow or even study some good existing examples.

Gosh, this is just a really mediocre hardly balanced multiplayer, nothing more.

Bronze is harsh on new people. But as you level up its easier. Silver is pretty challenging, I haven't even touched Gold yet, that must be crazy.
